Just called USEM..VISA is in the mail...WOOOHOOO!

I e-mailed the embassy on the 17th to find out if they got the HK police certificate, which should have been there by then, and got this response "We have not yet received the police clearance from Hong Kong. Once we receive the document and a consular officer is able to review the information, we will notify the applicant." No sign of the visa and it hasn't been released to 2GO yet. Starting to feel uneasy.

HK Police Cert should be there tomorrow at the latest...then the visa comes soon.

APPROVED! (but waiting on HK police cert to show up before they mail the visa)

Well, we are up to bat in 2 hours...praying for a homerun, but happy with a triple.

Just counting down the days until July 7th...knowing that we won't get intervew approval on that date because HK PCC won't be there in time...sigh!

Yeah, all that is required is a complete (all forms, schedules and supporting docs) copy of the 1040. The previous year tax transcripts are really for additional evidence of financial stability. Best wishes!
