    Hi,

    I had filed an I-864A form and sent it to NVC but now I’ve received a letter saying that I need to send in a proof of relationship between me and my father (the petitioner –Filed I-864).

    But I do not have a Birth certificate because it was missing when we left our country. I’ve called NVC and they told me to write a letter explaining it.

    Has anyone been in this situation b4. If so how do you get over it? Or anyone have a sample of the letter might look like---how to start?
