My fiancee just passed the interview at Casablanca embassy but they issued her 221(g) for joint-sponsor.

My current income is beyond the poverty line and yet they want joint-sponsor because my 2011

tax return was $3,000 less than poverty. They didn't even look on my bank statement which I submitted

to show my current asset although I did not added on I-134 form.

I have been looking for joint-sponsor for week now with no luck. I may have to resubmit the I-134 with

a current asset that cover the different between last year income and the poverty line amount (5 x $3,000 = $15,000)

I hope they accept it otherwise our visa will be denial .

Casablanca embassy is very tough when come to sponsor. Just be prepare and have qualified co-sponsor.

You need to make 125% of the federal income guidelines for poverty.

She should have everything you did make income from start of year until whenever than your new jobs employment letter and some paystubs if you have them. But she should have everything for current year just to be safe and sure.

It has been a while since I posted topic in here and I always get a helpful responds . My question this time is about starting a new job. It is only 3 weeks left until my fiancée’s interview. What should I do? Send her the new I-134 along with the new employer‘s employment letter or just have her take the old job’s documents to the interview?

You think part time job with 10 boxes an hour should be enough income? and what do you mean by "bank account has more that three times $18,212 in it."? what exactly the amount that I need to have in bank in order to support her without having job?

Last time I check the poverty line was $14.500 for 2 people.

I'm just wondering if the idea of not have job could be an issue.

Like I said, I have enough money in bank to support my wife, I pay all my bill including rent. My only problem is job. I cannot find good job around here; however, finding good job in my area can be challenge.Also, I make about 1000 a month on unemployment after taxes. if i add money in bank, and what I make on unemployment, I can be able to support her.Plus, it over the poverty line.

I'm full time college student. I'm planning to married this coming summer overseas,and I'm not sure if I be able to support my wife finacially. I still collect unemployment during year and half.Plus, all my tuition and book have been pay by the program that I'm going through"training program".Aslo, I have decent saving account with checking account, I pay all my taxes. I haven't work since last year, I have been laid off for a year and half. With all this condition, can I still support my wife?

My question is: Can I marry my future lady and sponsor her without having job? she's here on F1 visa,and it possible the USCIS denial my application for AOS because I'm not working? Hi, everyone.

Does anybody have this experience. Is it ok to take unexpired wife US passport to the interview instead of the birth certificate. I don't want to go over there and get denied for not bringing the birth certificate.

In my experience i toke both passport and birth certificate.fortualty,the officer didn`t asked me about either one but i think u be alright if u take the passport .In fact,they asking you to bring either passport or birth certificate,so in my opinion you will be safe with just the passport.

Hi folks,

I woke up early today,about 7:00 am,than i drove about 2 hours witch it sucks special when it raining like a hell.anyway,it was 9 :40 am when i arrived to Cleveland office ,by time i parked my car and walked a few mile to the office than passed trough security it was 10:10 am. fortualty, it was 30 min before my interview appointment ,so iam right on time. It was about 6 people on waiting room.After 15 min waiting ,officer called my name.we went inside his office and he told me to rise my right hand.

He reviewed my N400 ask me a few question like birthday, if iiam married ...etc, than i sign on front side of the pictures and sign the form as well.

After that, he told me to read sentence ( WASHINGTON IS ON THE DOLLAR BILL),and write down a same sentence, next he ask me 6 question:

What is freedom of religion?

what is the capitol of U.S?

When was the Constitution written?

When must all men register for the Selective Service?

Name one problem that led to the Civil War?

Name one state that borders Canada? of course my state( Ohio).lol

it toke me about 15 min to pass the interview.Unfortualty, i have to wait for the oath ceremony.

the lady said to expect the interview in abt. 3 mos, oath happens w/in a couple of days up to a month following interview. SO, potential citizenship end of May early June! :-)
