      Hey,

      Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I haven't been checking this very often at all. If you haven't started the process yet, it is very easy. It is similar to the first step of the CR 1 process. You will fill out an I751 and then send in any pertinent evidence of a bonafide relationship. Bank accounts, house or car loans together or a lease, health or life insurance, etc. Once they receive your docs. you get a letter extending residency for 1 year, then they will send...

      My husband was approved 1 day before yours and we just received his passport and docs. at 10 this morning! So I am hoping your hubby's will be there today or tomorrow! Woohoo...almost there!

    We are not in January list either, so sad...this is our 7 weeks after case completed on NVC. They told me to call back on January to see if we are in February list...

      Hopefully you will be there soon! We just got an interview for February 1st today so it seems they are already working on the next list. We received an email at 6:30 pm today saying we have an interview. ¡Ánimo!

      Nope, no news yet...haven't spoken with NVC lately. My grandma died and so I have not been in touch with NVC...I am calling Monday though to check in and see if maybe we were able to sneak in with an interview in December. Hope your SIF is on its way!

    Una nueva semana empieza, las esperanzas de entrevista para noviembre ya estan agotadas, hoy sabremos con seguridad, tal vez diciembre sea nuestro mes.... estamos tristes, 7 semanas de espera por asignacion de fecha de entrevista...es mucho

      It took me about 2 days to receive an email about it and although the AVR said that a letter had been sent I never received any letter in the mail.

      Mine said the same exact thing. It was pretty aggravating especially because they sent me about 4 emails telling me to submit my docs. If you do a search for "False RFE NVC" you will get results with cases that have had the same problem. :) I know waiting until Monday to actually talk to someone and have it confirmed is torture!

      We did get an actual RFE at NVC before the false one and the AVR message was completely different from the missing info. message for the false RFE. The real RFE stated that they sent a checklist letter and said nothing about missing info. Even with the false RFE we were sent emails saying the DS-230 package was missing and NVC operator told us to ignore them.

      Yeah, the operator told us that she can see thqat everything has been received, just not input yet and that we were fine. She said not to worry and to call back in about 2-3 weeks but they completed our case about 1 week later. Hoping things work out the same for you! I have seen a couple other instances of this also with other members. They receive a false RFE and then case complete shortly after. Good luck!
