I am a grad student with a student loan and do not work. I graduate in May 2011. I own my own condo and receive finacial help from my family. My mother has offered to co-sponsor my fiance to move here to the US from the UK. But after looking at the forms, it looks like the only type of co-sponsor form that is available is a "household member" type of form. My mother and I do not share the same residence nor does she claim me as a dependent.

What is the best way for us to get around this?

My fiance and I are trying to decide the best way from him to come to the USA. Is it better for him to come over on a K1 visa and us get married in the USA or is it better for us to get married in the UK and bring him over here on a K3 visa?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I am just trying to read all this information and have a question regarding: Affidavit of Support: Form I-134.

I am currently a graduate student here in the USA and do not work. How does that affect my fiance and moving him to the United States on a K-1 Visa. From what I understand, I need to fill one of these out for him to take to the interview with him, but I dont work. Now what happens???

My fiance and I have just started the process of moving him to the United States from England. We are just completing the I-129F form and associated documents currently. Here are my questions:

1. I keep seeing NOA1 and NOA2. What happens at each of these stages?

2. Once the I-129F paperwork is approved, it is my understanding there is an interview that my fiance would have to attend in England. Once this interview is conducted, how long does it take to receive the visa?

3. Once the visa is granted, how long does my fiance have until he must move to the United States? We are not looking to get married until the middle of next year (may 2011). I understand that we only have 90 days from the day he arrives in the states till we get married. Basically, once the visa is granted, is there a time limit for him to move?

4. How many photographs did you send in your initial package to prove your relationship? I do not want to go overboard.
