  1. I'm from Philippines, AB-Psychology graduate with 33 units of Education major in Values Education and a licensed teacher in US. I just arrived here in US 2 weeks ago and just waiting for my Green card and SSN to be delivered. I took an exam for ESL ( English as Secondary Language) and luckily I passed it and they put me into an advance ESL class instead of enrolling to basic English class. What I really want to do is to pursue my teaching career here in US. Teaching is my passion. I have 2 years teaching experienced for SPED and kindergarten as well. I inquired at the REd Rocks Community College here in Denver and seems like they are referring me to Regis University for my transcript to be evaluated. I wonder if there's someone here who can give me an idea what to do. I odn't want to study again for long. I earned too much education I guess. And the reason why I enrolled in ESL class is to improve my english skills... Your suggestions and ideas is much appreciated. Thank you!

Oooppsss I mean I'm a licensed teacher in Philippines...

  2. I'm getting worried because I can't track my visa yet. Embassy might be requesting a redo of my fingerprint scan. I had some allergies on my fingers when they scanned my fingerprint so the machine can't read my fingerprint. But the woman said it still depends upon what the consular will say if they will accept my fingerprint scanned or I have to redo it. The Consular didn't say anything about the FP. Here comes the worries again. I have to call the embassy tomorrow. I'm trying to track my visa at the 2go site but it's not yet there.

  3. Thanks for sharing this issue! My husband also booked my flight on February 10 8:05 AM via online too. That's pretty bad. If I'm in your wife's position, I will also get upset and frustrated. So many hardships to get through from papers up to the airline thing. But remember; no pain no gain".

  7. I just listened to the NVC's AVR and it said that it has been forwarded in the embassy last January 14, 2011. My interview will be on February 1. I wonder if the embassy has my documents already. Is it possible that it is already my interview and they haven't have my documents form the NVC yet? If that's the case then that means I have to produce all the documents again? I'm getting nervous really.

P.S. Should I just present a personal copy of my NBI clearance or should I get another one? Thanks!

  8. Guys, I am asking an advise about this CFO thing. I didn't realize I have to do this. My interview will be on February 1st and hubby booked my flight on the 10th. Manila embassy delivered IR-1 visa within 3-5 working days. So by the 7th or 8th I can get my visa in hand. What I am worrying about I might not I have enough time for this CFO thing. What do you think? Please please I need some info... Thanks!

  9. My thought about this is : Interview is just for formality. I am just wondering why they can deny a visa if the papers/ documents underwent a thorough review from the USCIS and NVC? If a visa will be denied it should happened right at these 2 agencies. But, what would be the grounds for administrative review? I guess when a couple is married for 2 and a half years, like us or more, there should be no tough investigation especially if the documents are complete and very well accomplished.

  10. Happy New Year everyone! My interview was scheduled on February 01, 2011. My husband is now planning to book an airline ticket for me within this week. I told him it might not be a good idea. We should wait after my interview. But he said, booking a ticket earlier will save us $$. Is it really a good idea for my hubby to book a ticket for me already? He's planning for my flight on February 14 ( Valentines Day here in Philippines so that when I arrived there in US it's Valentines Day there. I know my husband is really excited to be with me again. 0) After my interview, how long am I going to wait for my visa? I read here it's 7-10 days. But some said it took them a month? I hope not that long....

  11. Happy New Year as well! First, don't be worried! -) Everything is going to be fine. Phone records or chat might not be the priority evidence. Make sure you have plenty of pictures especially your wedding pictures, pictures the 1st time you met each other with your family. Bring also some old letters or if he is sending a package a gift bring it along with you not the gift itself but the mail proof. Remittances can also be one if he is sending you money.

  12. Call the NVC or listen to the AVR. I had SIF then I listened to the AVR and said that our case was completed last December 17th but when I called the NVC operator, she said that unfortunately our case can't be schedule for a January interview because it's already full. Operators keep on telling me to call them back at the 2nd week of January because they only schedule interview every 2nd week of the month. I doubt it. So I called the USEm and a lady was about to schedule me for January interview but she said, our case is not yet entered to their system. That just made me more confused so I guess I should just call the NVC by next week and hoping for a good news.

  13. Prayer is our means of communication with God. Ask and it shall be given, knock and the door will opened. Yes that's right that God knows what your needs but He needs us to be humble before Him. Prayer is not only for asking for what you need. It has 4 parts. Adoration, confession, thanksgiving and supplication.

God gave humans freewill. He order us to rule the earth and make use its resources wisely. Whatever is happening to the animals it is humans choice nad negligence to take care these resources that God has given us.

  14. Sis, pwede bang yung personal copy ko na lang NBI ang ipi present ko sa embassy or do I have to get another copy of my NBI? The NVC has it already and they are going to forward it naman sa embassy di ba? And what is CEMAR? Ano sasabihin ko sa NSO pag kumuha ako nyan and how many days before ko yan makuha? Bakit kailangan pa yung pay stub, employment letter, w2 eh pinorward na yun sa NVC? Ang alam ko original AOS ang need nila kasi yun yung nabasa ko sa St. Lukes.

What's missing? I guess your secondary proof of your identity. Nabasa ko yan sa site ng embassy. Example baptismal record, school record and old ID's. Tsaka second proof of the citizenship of your hubby.
