Yeah, seems to be a CD, i didn't receive a separate X-ray, so this must be it.

There does not appear to be anything else inside, but it is sealed by Knightsbridge doctor stamps etc.

I do have my DS3025 separate from this envelope.

Anyone? Do i just put this in the envelope with the I-485?

So i was handed a white A4 sized envelope when i got my medical done in Knightsbridge, it is sealed and has my name and case number written on it. When i hold it up to the light, i see one CD inside a paper case. Can anyone enlighten me as to what this is and whether i need to leave it sealed?

PS, i had my medical before the K1 interview.

Landed through Chicago and got stuck there, but that's another story, now over in Or as planned.

Visa process took no longer than a normal visitor visa to process and was done at the desk as normal and not in another room.

IR1 / CR1 still have to interview the same as K1. This forum isn't exclusively for K1 applicants.

Nick's correct, it's not the K1 portion per sé, it's that it appears to be the whole thing over again with another visa type.

May i ask what the interview is for? you appear to be married and already gone through the K1 process?

Yeah, i spent years POE'ing through Chicago, massive immigration section. I don't mind there at all so other than it being two stops, i'm good.

It's just weird, all the people approved on the day before my interview have theirs, and all the people approved on the day after my interview are getting theirs

Might be nice as you say, but i've no choice now, the ticket is non refundable and non changeable, i'm going through Chicago whether i like it or not.

Hardly a practical idea to drive 5 hours each way up & down I5, at least with ORD there are several UA flights a day so if you do get delayed makes it easier to get re-booked.

Actually i have heard of rental cars, unfortunately they cost money, that's not something i'm flush with. However, as stated, the ticket is bought and i'm very stuck with it now, c'est la vie.

No, i was trying to get my POE as my destination, save time and effort.

However, having "had it out" with the ticket company today, it seems i'm a)screwed, and b)getting a two stop flight advertised as a one stop with a touchdown (technical term for another stop which they legally don't have to call a stop)

My only saving grace is that the airline has to make sure i get to the destination even if i'm held up in immigration.

Just spoke to United (again) more sense out of this non local based call center, seems that it *is* a two stop outbound flight, which is *not* what i bought!!

Couldn't get hold of netflights this afternoon, permanently on hold, closed at 6, so wrote a complaint to their CS address.

If i'm going to touchdown in the US before my destination, i at least just want a one stop, i can get that cheaper!!

Yeah that's the normal flight i take, and like you, i used the Lufthansa one before that. However, even though search engines keep showing that flight available, it's not when you try and book it, it's been like that all week

I check with United this morning and they say this is a plane change in o'hare and assure me that we do not go through security/immigration at all.

Now i kinda believe her as they can't say it's a one stop flight if it's two (which o'hare would be the second) So, we'll have to see i guess.
