    Need to get police records even though in the papers NVC sent us they said we don't need them. The Nica consulate said that the NVC information is outdated. Argh!

      so, we still need them for the interview and not the NVC stage, correct. lo siento por tu frustración! :P

      Yes, even if NVC tells you otherwise apparently the consulate will require them.. at least they did for us. They said the pueblo or the district is fine.
