I have got all my evidence together, do I use the same two hole at the top binder for this with the tabs like I used for all my other packets?

Make sure your medical is done at least a week in advance of the interview date or you will have to wait for it to be processed to get your visa. It added a week onto ours.
I agree it is not a good idea to book in advance.

I received the exact reply back in September and had already sent the ds230. Their reply was it is being entered and can be up to 6 weeks to be reviewed. I called about 5 weeks later and they had already approved it and was set in line to make the interview date, they did not notify me it was approved. So not to worry if they received and entered it already.

Merry Christmas,
Well I flew to the Philippines to gather my wives belongings and her a week ago. We came back through the POE of Chicago. We went through passport control and then they hand carried us and her packet to the Admin part of the Customs. Every thing went smooth we sat down and 5 minutes later they called her up where she signed and gave a finger print. They said welcome to America and she here she, just like magic. I believe her green card and Social Security card will be sent to our home. ..........
Thanks again for all the help. May everyones Journey be as trouble free as ours. It would have been so hard without all the help that has come from here. All the advice I see here is spot on.

Well my wife had and passed her interview the 3rd of Dec and had to wait for the medical to get over to the embassy and then shipped to CEBU. I arrived today to wait with her and low and behold she was waiting for me with the visa.
1. her visa said good for one year ...but it also says expires 30 may 2011???????? I guess I don't understand what happens. Will we renew it in May?
2. I was reading on her coming into the usa. I assume we can leave any time, maybe next week, the thread said something about a white copy and an I 94. What are these, where do we get them and can they be done even before we go to the airport?
3. Any international airport can be a POE.
4. Anything I am missing

My wife passed her interview last friday, they only asked a few general questions and looked at the wedding pictures. They were very nice to her. She went for her physical on Monday and because of the holiday she couldn't take until Tuesday. Thew will send her visa to Cebu when and if the results are ok. The will forward the results on Tue the 7th.
Question 1: Anyone know how long it will take for them to send the visa if her physical is ok?
I am working in Dubai and done tomorrow I will fly to the Philippines and escort her home.
Question 2: When she gets her visa sent to her and does her CFO is she free to go immediately?
Question 3: Does anyone know the cheapest cities to fly one way to in the states?
Thanks in advance to everyone here....Ours wasn't the fasted visa but the advice here has been strong and by crossing all the t's and dotting the i's everything went the way it is suppose to. It would have been a lot harder journey without everyones support.
Thank you very much

I talked to the NVC about the philippines and they told me that they schedule the interviews for the following month the second week of the month. It goes on when your paper work is approved and the availability of the consulates schedule. It took them 6 weeks to approve our AOS and ds3032 and we have our interview the 3 of dec. Our paper work was approved on the 11th of NOv.

I forgot to ask , will she receive a packet or is everything online now????????

My wife just got notice of her interview in Manilla for Dec 3. I see in the letter she needs some vaccinations. Will they give them at St lukes or will she need to have them done before she goes?
I have sent her copies of everything we submitted.
All the paper work is ok .... anything else I am missing??????????
-
Well the i 864 is off and the assignment of me on the ds3032 is done. We are now working on the ds 230....very confusing to me.
She fills out the ds 230 and mails to me and I submit........right?
Then I mail to the NVC.........right?
What are the original documents that need to be submitted with this???????
Someone told me She needs her moms birth certificate??????? Her father is deceased.
Her interview will be in Manila.
Are there any documents of mine that need to go with the packet?
Do I have to have an interview also here in the states?
thanks everyone...wish us luck

I see there is a 70 dollar fee for the review domestically, when I looked at the Department of state web site it says 88 dollars.

Wow great news. Still no email or text though. How long until the NVC contacts me?????? Anyone have any thoughts?

I have all the items for the i130 ready to go, so I go to the area here for general tips.
1. Do I need to file the i485 right now when I file the i130
2. Is my marraige license from the Philipines proof of marraige,
I can't add her to any of my accts as she doesnt have a SSN.

When I have all my ducks in a row and get ready to send it off, what is the correct way? Priority mail? Reg mail? Return receipt?

thanks
I tried to edit and it wouldnt work so I revised it here.............sorry
I am starting the I130 process as I got married last month in the Philippines. We are filling out the g325a and at the end of her form it asks for the applicant name and an a #. Would this be my name as the applicant of the I130 or hers?
At the top of the form She filled her name in with a changed family name (mine) and her maiden name as other used name. She hasn't changed her passport yet, will that make a difference if I have to submit a copy.
Will we need to submit a copy of her birth certificate and or a copy of her passport? If yes to the passport she hasn't changed it to my name yet.
My brain is ready to explode!!!!!!!!!!

I posted yesterday on how to present our packet. Do we put it in the same type of binder with 2 holes on the top with labels.
This is the last of what I need to finish.
