  2. Hello, this question has been raised so many times in so many forums, but yet there seems to be no clear answer one way or the other. Can anyone who obtained a successful Immigration visa from DCF London please comment on these questions. Would very much appreciate it.

    1) The instructions for I-864 says write or print "None" for number fields and "N/A" for text fields for all questions. However, the online form simply does not allow "None" or "N/A" to be entered. Should then handwrite "None" or "N/A" on the form after I print it out? or better to be left blank?

    2) Part 2, 1.c - Middle Name - again the same question - "N/A" or Blank?

    3) Part 2, 2.a - In case of Name - "N/A" or Blank?

    4) Part 2, 5 - Alien Registration number - "None" or Blank?

    5) Part 2, 6 - USCIS ELIS Account number (if any) - "None" or Blank?

    6) Part 3, questions 3 to 27 --> info about family members - I have none - should I mark all the 5 family member info as "N/A" ?

    7) Part 6, questions 3 to 14 - Income from any other person - does not apply for me - again should I mark every single box as "N/A"?

    8) Part 7 (optional) - OK to leave Blank for all boxes?

    9) Part 9 and Part 10 (Interpreter info) - OK to leave Blank for all boxes?

thank you much in advance, I know this is a very detailed question, but we don't want to take any chance of delaying our visa issuance.

    thanks,

    soolong

  3. My Spouse received her ACRO Police certificate which says "NO TRACE", we then found on the FAQ section of the USCIS Immigration interview the following:

"If your ACRO states “No Trace”or “No Live Trace”, you are required to obtain a Memorandum of Conviction from the Court. Another way in which you can furnish this information is by the presentation of a Subject Access Statement."

Can anyone please help with this? my understanding is "No TRACE" means there is no criminal record on file. How do you then obtain a Memorandum of conviction from the court? anyone who 's has a recent interview and experience - please comment.

  4. Hello all, we have our IR-1 interview coming up in a couple of weeks. I noticed on the USCIS London website that they no longer accept credit card payments since Oct 19, 2016. Anyone who has had a recent interview at London comment on how they made the payment for the visa? The website mentions that they will only accept US cashier checks, US money orders and international bank drafts. If yes, where can you get the US cashier checks or US money orders while in the UK?

Your responses are very much appreciated.

  5. Hello all,

I am hoping to get some clarity around the following topic.

We have just filed the I-130 paperwork for my Spouse and step-son at London for DCF. Based on the current processing speed, we anticipate that we will get the immigration visa approved by the end of the year. My question is once the immigration visa is approved for my spouse and minor son, can they arrive into the US at different dates, for example my spouse would leave immediately after visa approval (say in December 2016) and I would then go to UK and bring our son later during easter (April 2017). Is this possible? or do they both have to arrive in the US together?

Very much appreciate your input in advance.

  6. Dear all,

I am planning to file petition for a K1 visa on behalf of my boyfriend. I am a US Citizen and he is a UK citizen, and we are family friends. He has been to the States a couple of times last year (2009), while he was going through this divorce. His divorce settlement was finally issued only last month (Jan 2010). When filing for K1 visa, it is ok if I show proof of our last visit (in Dec 2009) while he was technically NOT divorced, i.e. not eligible? Please let me know if any of you had a similar experience or have some background related to this situation. Your feedback is much appreciated.
