I'm not sure I know I was placed in deferred action..and told to wait till I'm eligible to file. But if I can't waor how I'm I gonna be able to pay the fees when its time to file...I don't mind waiting because I can always renew or extend the deferred action. I just thought I would be able to work since that is the direction and explanation that's on the uscis website.........vawa is not an easy thing to go through so I figure they would allow us to work.

Hi everyone i need some help.I have an approved i360 and was told i have to wait to file form i485 for adjustment of status due to my ex husband being a green card holder. I was placed in deferred action and filed for employment authorization i765on march 1st. It has been past the 90 day time line and my case hasnt been touched, so i made an info pass appointment.I was then told that i can not get employment authorization due to my ex being a green card holder. I was also told that when a visa number is available i will be able to file the form i485 and the i765 again.I havent received anything from vermont service center saying my case was denied or that i am not allowed to file. I thought that once a person was placed in deferred action they we able to file for employment authorisation.im i wrong and has something changed???

Hi guys i applied for my EAD on the 1st of march 20101, it was then touched on the 4th of march and nothing since then.I have not received anything in the mail to get biometrics or anything anyone familiar with this?

Hey guys a quick question...i got an approved i360 this feb after applying in april 2009....now i filed for my EAD (I765) BASED ON THE APPROVED I360 THEY RECEIVED MY APPLICATION ON MARCH 1ST 2010 AND IT WAS THEN TOUCHED AGAIN ON MARCH 4TH BUT HASNT BEEN TOUCHED AGAIN, I HAVENT RECEIVED ANYTHING IN THE MAIL TO GET BIOMETRICS DONE IS THIS NORMAL? i SAT DOWN WITH AN ATTORNEY WHO TOLD ME BECUZ I MARRIED A GREENCARD HOLDER I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT TO BE ELIGEBILE TO FILE FOR THE GREEN CARD APROXIMATELY 3 YEARS FINE BY ME I JUST WANNA WORK BUT NOTHING YET AFTER 50 DAYS IS THIS NORMAL FOR EAD.i SUBMITTED AN INQUIRY TODAY....

Hey guys i have a question concerning EAD. I filed for my EAD based on approved i360 it was received on march 1st 2010 it was then touched on march 4th i was told i should have received a date for biometrics but i havent received anything or my case has even been touched.its been 50 days and one touch and no biometrics is this normal? i submitted an inquiry i hope this gives some info anyone ever encountered this/ and is the biometrics a must for the ead...because i did get fingerprinted and all that for mt i360... thanks guys..

I-360 FILED APRIL 6TH 2009

APRIL 14TH 2009 RECEIVED REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE

MAY 22ND 2009 EVIDENCE WAS SUBMITTED

JULY 20TH 2009 RECEIVED PRIMA FACIE DETERMINATION WHICH EXPIRES JAN 2009

DECEMBER 16TH 2009 CASE TOUCHED

DECEMBER 27TH 2009 REQUEST FOR AND EXTENSION SENT OUT.

I AM SO NERVOUS THAT MY CASE IS TAKING SOME TIME AND IM PRAYING THAT IT GOES THROUGH BECAUSE ALL THIS HARDSHIP AND PAIN HAS GOT TO BE WORTH SOMETHING ESPECIALLY WHEN A SMALL CHILD IS INVOLVED. I PLAN ON FILING FOR THE DIVORCE BUT I CANT AFFORD IT SO THATS THE ONLY REASON I HAVE NOT FILED FOR IT YET.

ANY SUGGESTIONS ON MY CASE GUYS WHAT DO U GUYS THINK? I SUBMITTED POLICE REPORT, 3 AFFIDAVITS FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS AS WELL AS PICTURES OF US BEFORE HE BECAME ABUSIVE. UNFORTUNATELY I NEVER TOOK PICTURES OF MY BATTERED FACE OR THE BLOOD STAINS ALL OVER THE HOUSE. aFTER COMING HOME AND MEETING YOUR SPOUSE WAITING FOR U WITH A SAMURAI SWORD THE AND SEEING KNIVES LAID OUT ON YOUR KITCHEN COUNTER THE LAST THING ON ONES MIND IS PICTURES. THE POLICE CONFISCATED THE SWORD AND OFFERED ASSISTANCE WITH PLACING ME IN HOUSING BUT I COULDNT PUT MY NEW BORN BABY THROUGH ALL THAT SO I CAME BACK TO MY HOME AND LOCKED ALL THE WINDOWS AND DOORS EVERY SOUND IN THAT HOUSE MADE ME JUMP. I REQUESTED MEDICAL RECORDS FROM MY DOCTORS SUCH AS STD REPORTS AND (YES I GOT STDS FROM HIM) FOUND OUT 4 MONTHS AFTER MY BABY WAS BORN ABOUT CHLAMYDIA, BUT THEY CAME IN TOO LATE I HAD ALREADY SUBMITTED THE I360 REQUEST.

SO ALL THIS AND MORE WERE INCLUDED IN MY REQUEST. I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WITH A SHRINK THIS WEEK IM NERVOUS ABOUT THAT.
