I need help... I came to America with K3 visa, we had our interview for green card in 2005 and at the interview we were told -FBI name check. We were calling, going for info passes...senator- everybody telling- FBI name check. After a year ago we decided to leave with my husband apart.... to separate. He met somebody and i met someone. Now my question- if my husband would divorce me, can i remarry and stay legally in America and stop my first AOS and apply for the second, or what should i do. I am in marriage for 5 years now...with my husband. Please any ideas....

In October we received a letter that FBI name check is pending. Lawyer says that it can be that they checking the marriage if it was in good faith or FBI name check....But i am wondering if it would be checking for true intentions- they would ask us for second interview- they never did.....I do not know what to do....Please help

Our problem is that our marriage is 4 years now. I could of applied for Citizenship..but i do not have any green cards yet. Going to the lawyer on Monday...could not stand it anymore....1,5years after interivew...

what would you suggest us to do...

October 27 2006-received a letter stating that my background check is not done yet. Please wait 6 more months.....I am very upset...At the interview an officer told us- everything is ok, FBI name check is pending...

Hello, i have a question. When I am calling to USCIS number and trying to fine the info about the case status it says - status for this case could not be found in the system.What does this mean? thanx

We just requested the case status info. They changed it saying they have sent something. When I am trying to check the status by calling, the voice says it could not be found in the system. Touched today again...just wondering what does that mean?

Today we received 5 e-mail saying that the more information for our case was sent.(case status) When we tried calling it says case could not be found in the system. Is it because they sent the e-mail today or does it mean that they checking the case? Please help, i m in panic. Thanx

Hello, today i had an info pass appointment. The officer said they sent the file to Cali and they working on it. You will get it he was repeating several times. So you do not need an appointment. It's waist of your time/

Our case was touched 2 times this week. May be because i called and requested a refferal? Who knows?

Hello everyone. Please give us an advice. Our time line is filed for AOS May 2004 had interview May 2005 FBI name check pending. What if we will hire a lawyer to check what's going on. Does it worth it or not?

Today I spoke with an officer from INS. He told me that our FBI name check is still pending since after interview in May 2005. He said that this is the only one thing that slows the approval. What should we do-go to the lawyer (lawyer asking 2000 dollars for this case minimum) or we have to wait. Thanks, Good luck

Hello, i have a question for those who were approved.

My 485 form is pending and was touched on April 13 th stating that letter is undeliverable.

Before it said that card or document was mailed but it came back.

On June 10th which is Saturday my 129 form was touched. What the h... is that i do not know/

It seems so strange to me our 129 form was touched 2 times since we sent RFE.

485 Form has never been touched since than.

What does it mean? They working on the case?

They changed info when they received the RFE with additional info back. Sicne than nothing

We had an interview in May 2005 since than our case was transfered to California in March. WE GOT a RFE in April. Since april no news at all. Do NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. Visa K3
