Let me go through my paperwork and see if the form has changed will let you know what I find out.

The form has changed since I did my stepsons but this is what i figured out.

If you are a derivative applicant (the spouse or unmarried

child under 21 years of age of a principal applicant), provide the

following information for the principal applicant.

Since the children are under 21 you would put in the in your information being the principal applicant not children they will be listed in Part 6.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Nadiia has finished her journey now she is a U.S. Citizen, there is no rush for getting her passport and have to wait a till the beginning of May to update her social security card. Everything went really quick through all of this journey thanks to a lot of people on this site with their knowledge and help, it helped my family a lot. Will start the process for my stepson in 19 months, but will be much easier. Thanks again and I wish the rest of you quick ending to the process. Good Luck.

  3. Hi, i have a question about new form N400 at part 10 Information about your children. My husband has a son with ex-wife, his son is living with mom, not living with us, so now i have to fill his son in my n400 or not ? Pls help me

I filed for my wife back in December and list my son on her N400 and also sent a copy of my son's birth certificate. During her interview they did ask her about my son, and told them it was her stepson. She passed her interview, now we go for her oath ceremony on the 11th of April.

  4. Well Just got back from Kansas City, MO. Nadiia has been approved and now we just have to wait for her to take her oath, this will now all depend on USCIS on when in Kansas City,

MO the following dates are available April 11th or May 15th, but what would be best is

6 June because it will be done in Springfield, MO a mile from the apartment. She was in

    her interview for 30 minutes.

Under civic test she was asked 6 questions, then under personal she was asked about where she has lived and messed up the address by putting it all in the wrong order even after 3 years, she has a cell phone but didn't know the number. Her main problem was the fact thatwhen she was growing up it was considered the USSR still so she was affiliated with the

communist Party but never was involved in it so she was asked about it (I Knew that would be asked).

In the end all that matters is she was approved. In 2 more years will have to do this one more time for my stepson but without all the extra paperwork.

P.S. I have problems with updating the information tried many times can someone please update that she was approved thank you.

  5. Well yesterday turned into a big disaster. I went to USCIS Website to see if the numerous times Monday night and checked 3 times Monday morning to see if the St Louis Office was closed since it was closed on Monday. It did not show the office as being closed so left at 4 am. It was a long trip to St Louis with snow covered Interstate, it took 4 hours to travel 200 miles. At 8 am I decided to Call USCIS to make sure the office was open. I was informed at this time that the office was closed for the day. We were only 45 minutes away, so it took another 4 hours to drive back home. I decided to check the website and to no surprise it was still not listed as closed go figure. I was informed that when the office opens back up we can go back and see if they will do the biometrics because it is done case by case in-between regular scheduled appointments. So decided to just wait for the new appointment to be scheduled. After the office being closed for 2 days and maybe even today the office will be packed with walk-ins. So now the wait goes on again. Glad to hear that others are getting their bio's done. Have a great day.

  6. Well mailed out my wife's packet (3 years married to US Citizen) today suppose to be at Phoenix Lock by Monday. When everything finally gets started one trip to St Louis, MO for biometrics then one trip to Kansas City, MO for Interview. I'm glad either directions is about the same amount of time and mileage. Good luck everyone.

  7. I am looking through the cover letters and it seems to me that there are a couple things missing that the M-477 Document Checklist says you need if it is for Naturalization on basis of marriage to U.S. Citizen after 3 years a copy of one of the following documents of the US Citizen either Birth certificate, Certificate of Naturalization, Certificate of Citizenship, inside front cover and signature page of Passport or FS-240 Report of Birth Abroad of a US citizen. Then a copy of the marriage license. I would list this on the cover letter too. I will be sending my wife's packet on 6 Dec 2013. Good luck with everyone's final step.
