    hey guys, i am a silent reader. my interview was on july 2012 and on 21 december 2013 i sent fresh medical and fill up the forum ds-260 online. now today i received call from embassy to come islamabad for fingerprints on 14 feb 10 AM. is this good news for visa issuance?

    My wife just did her finger print and oath Jan 2014 . Visa received after 2 days.

    i have a question for all those people who have recently been approved or are getting called in for the oath and fingerprinting, that how long ago did u send ur last medical? as in were they sent within the last 6 months indicating previously submitted medicals are also valid for 6 months? or if they are within a year, then that means that old medicals are good upto a year, but now if anyone gets a new medical its only valid for 6 months! pls do answer this.

    its important to me because my wife has now been in ap for 1 yr and 11 months, and in feb next month itll be 2 years. she last submitted her medical in feb 2013, last year, so im just wondering that if she was to get approved today, would they require a new medical before they issue the visa or will her last medical still work since it hasnt still been a year she she last submitted it. thanks

    We first submitted our Medical during interview which was Oct 15, 2012

    Embassy called my wife on Dec 5, 2013 to submit new medical (2 Medical) which was sent to them on Dec 13, 2013

    Received called Jan 10, 2014 for Oath and Finger Print

    I posted this as a new topic but nobody has answered maybe you guys can help me. To be sure the embassy will accept the co-sponsors Affidavit of Support how much

    money should he make to be over the minimum 125%. A thousand, 2 thousand or 5 thousand?

    I don't want him to be right at the 125% because I fear they would reject his I864. Somebody please help me.

    Also I wrote to President Obama about my case 3 months ago. Today I got a letter from USCIS in the mail. I have not read the letter yet. I am too afraid to read the

    letter. Why would USCIS be writing to me and not the Department of State? After 4 years of dealing with the visa process all my money is gone and my nerves are shot. I can't take it anymore. I feel so much pressure. If I tell my husband I got the letter he will say open it right away. So I am not going to tell him. I am just goingto leave the letter alone until I feel more courage.

    So i called DOS right now, informed of standard answer still in AP.

    Tried to inquire where our case file is stuck at and was informed she cannot discuss that information with be because of privacy laws because she doesn't know who i was and there is no way to verify that i was petitioner. I didn't know people call DOS line for fun because we don't have any thing else to do.

    Very rude lady with major attitude problem while WE the tax payers are paying her bills. Ridiculous

    Its good to know that i pay taxes so my own government can put us through this misery in the name off security check. Way to go "democracy and freedom"

    I have some good news. The embassy finally called and emailed my husband to come in for an interview. There is one problem. I have a letter from the embassy saying my Affidavit of support and all the other documents we sent are fine but in the email we got today they are saying the Affidavit of Support is not fine and we need a co-sponsor.

    I have written to my senator about this and sent a copy of the letter. I also emailed the embassy to find out if they made a mistake because I meet the income

    guidelines. I will keep you guys informed about what happens with my case.
