im almost so tempted to hire a lawyer here in my end and to turn over all the stress that im going through right now.. im already tired with everything... and i know you all always have the eyes to read all my complains and have all the heart to listen to it. we were trying to get a passport for my stepson and cant even have that... went through a lot of questioning with the investigator over at DFA (passport place in the Phils) and just to find out that they need a court order. our lawyer was telling us that it will just take a week to get that if we will pledge that the mother of my stepson is nowhere to be found but i know from the core of my heart where shes at. i dont want to say that we can find her coz i know that if we'll just look for that ***** we'll find her. (throw a fresh meat to a starving crocodile and they will appear in the air)

i told my lawyer that we'll just make the safest, most legal and most truthful way of obtaining the court order and it will give us a peace of mind till the end of this tiring journey.... my husband will have another meeting with our family lawyer tomorrow there in the Philippines and they will plan things through of meeting up with her....

im already hands-up to all of that.... and hoping this chapter of my life with just FASTFORWARD just like what we can do to a movie if were not liking the scene.

Ok Yna I sent out the Ds230 already I called up NVC and I told her I am the Petitioner and she told me that I don't need it and that as long as the Benifcery has his or hers...

It's varies sometimes when your case is transfered to nvc you can get a choice of agant with a matter of a week some people 3 to 4 weeks you have people that don't recieve it until 3 months later.. But what you can do is call them and they probably will send it to you...

Twulf, i only send the mail version for the I-864, but for the DS-3032 i did send both

by mail and email.

But with my Ds 3032 I scaned it to him and he signed it and I told him on the phone what to do... He emailed it to them stating the information that he wants his wife as his agent... And that was that, you don't have to send it out then email it then have him email it to you so you can email it to them... Just have him on the phone with you and email it together... it takes two to complete this process so you both need to work together... I just finished ds 230 and i 864 i wont be sponsoring my husband because i didn't really make enough money at all so my sis and dad are going to sponsor him... LOL but trust me Im already hearing it from them, "What's in it for me?" what am I going to get from this..? LOL my sister keeps asking me for favors saying ( I wont sponsor him if you don't go get me Icecream) LOL LOL LOL you see me running to go get her Ice Cream..

the 4 pages DS-3032 is the only email the i received so far... nothing for AOS fee bill yet....

how did you do your ds-3032? did your wife signed it? or you did....nakakabwesit ang asawa ko... is taking too long to print it, fill it up, scan it and to email it back to NVC.

based on experience, from families, and friends.... if the case is already current and you already have your interview date, you can call some numbers that you can make your appointment for your medical screenings. but give it a lil bit of days allowance just incase you will have some things to fix and to take care of with your medical stuff... just a bit of advice... but i know us here are all healthy and happy so, everything should be ok.

Hello everyone, missed you guys like crazy. Now that is some good news with the Visa Bulletin, and am sure all of us with December dates can almost be too sure our interviews will be in June, and maybe some might stray into July. But I miean that is such a huge sigh of relief after the heart-breaking move of just one month in the last bulletin. Can you believe that i have been going back every like time i could, to just be sure they haven't gone back to change the date from DEC 01???? So so too good to be true.

SAM, you are one blessed guy you know. Thanks for the honour of making me KNOW your family. I will miss them sore. Enjoy your lifes to the fullest. What we shared on that interview day can never be explained, only those going through the exact same thing can know the feeling.

TWULF, I just thought i sjould add my widow's mite to your question above. Be sure to fill in ALL the NAMES of the pple immigrating (that is the spouse and any number of children you gus have and have filed for) in the I-864 forms EVEN THOUGH you are using a co-sponsor. The petitioner should iclude all the names of the intending immigrants to his forms EVEN if his/her income is presumed low. The Co-sponsor form will complement that.

That was one of the major hitches we had in our journey, and it kind of delayed us somewhat, i mean whilst some of us spend 3-6weeks after the Choice of agent contact from NVC , we used a total of 3months.

Other contributing factors to our delay were that some documents were still not ready when we were asked to start submitting stuff, and mixed up some of NVC addresses. So mails got sent back after a week of posting and we had to resend again.

What am actually trying to say is that you can save yourselves some sleepless nights by getting EVERYTHING you can help getting READY. You can print off forms DS 230 online and fill it without dating, gather all your documents (marriage, Births, Divorce Certificates, travel passports, photo passports and any other doc specific to you situation). Just dont wait for an email from NVC before you spring into action.

Believe me the begining of the end of the whole journey is nearer than you think.

That is my story, now i know better and would not want you all to make the same mistakes we made.

Finally we got CASE COMPLETE on the 8th of April, and our PD Is Dec 27th 06! I cant believe this.

Yes you have to file out both if you are using a co sponsor I-864a and the regular I-864... And don't forget to include everything else along with it...

and the co sponsor needs letters from their job as well and pay stubs.. And you have to prove relationship with the co sponsor...

I FINALLY GOT A HOLD OF NVC--- i was sooo relieved with the questions that is been running throuhg my head for the past years. for my step-son's issue that i made an honest error, all i just have to do is to wait till they will contact me in about 4-6 weeks and the operator was telling me that they might be asking for my step-son's birthcertificate and she was saying i should be FINE!

and about my address issue, i can fax them my new physical address to 1-603-334-0071 ATTN: change address

and they can update my file.

and send it to NVC with the bar coded cover sheet and pertinent docs required. Piece of advise

i suggest you make some sort of a cover letter as reference for all the items attached that goes

with the form.

Hey Mitch, When you call and hear a busy signal do you keep trying after that I keep pressing recall until i get through sometimes it takes 10-20min and sometimes 5min but I keep trying.... As For the change of address when you call nvc automated mechin. It gives you that option if you changed your home address press *** i don't know the number but it gives you that option... I don't think you should wait until you recieve the ds3032 i think you should try and call them or email NVCinqury...

I got nothing that says that, and the last one i got yesterday was for the IV Fee Bill.

Just to be on the safe side call them and ask them should you file out the I-864 and send it because I read some where that if you send something without them telling you can delay your case.... But if you call and they have it on your account, you will be set...

Lebanese Girl, i suggest you file the '09 taxes to avoid issues with the I-864 filing.

Yea 70$ they sent me an email saying I have to pay the fee before anything... I paid online then after a week and half I recevied the link to download the form
