Hey guys, I just wanted to check in , it has been some time sinse my last post here. When my wife has her interview in june, it will be just about 9 months from start to finish. Its been sinse Feb 06 sinse I have seen my wife, so please cross fingers and prayer would be very nice. Oh, my wife is from China so those of you from other worldly places, you can just be so thankful it dont take you 9 months, /grumble grumble. =)~

My wife has her interview coming up June 5. We are so happy and excited, although 9 months is a long time to wait, its not nearly as bad as some folks have had to wait. Got to love only 2 consolates in a country of 1.4 bil. Thats china of course. see you all around.

Actually, we are waiting for P-4 for K-3 visa atm. We are getting very close to interview, in addition the CR-1 was approved and sent to NVC. I am hoping to get interview for K-3 visa and do AOS in the usa.

I was just wondering, our K-3 has been approved and were just waiting for P-4. I just returned from visiting my spouse, and I gave her the I-123 and tax info, payroll check stubbs, banking info from the last 4 years, with last years deposits totaled, being over the minimum to support us and letter from work. I understand CR-1 support paperwork is different. I-864. Do we just go on with the K-3 visa and ignore the CR-1 or should be now wait on the CR-1 process?

Sorry, its a complicated one. And its a lot to ask for. if anyone knows, please let me know what I should do.

You will need a letter stating that you are single. This letter needs to be notarized and sent into your state office for an approval seal, and then sent to a Chinese Consulate in your state area to have it approve. Once that is done you are ready to be married...
