Did your passport get delivered finally?

no i sent just a regular copy. I thought it was a certified copy because it had a stamp on the front but it didn't have a stamp on the judges signature. the new one i sent a couple weeks ago had a stamp on the judges signature so she should be good when she takes that tot he interview

@dragonlover-he police clearance just finally processed yesterday and was put in the mail so the interview is postponed one more week.

Well they don't really want an orignial what they want is an original certified copy. It means that you can't send a non-certified copy and you can't send a copy of a certified copy. The copy you have to send needs to have a stamp on it.

Ok well I can't get the orignials which is fine because the courthouse gave me a certified copy and it has a big stamp and seal on it next to the judge's signature. The copy i sent originally didn't have this.

I think certified copy is good enough but i'm going to send the originals just in case.

They want the certificate of no marriage to come directly from NSO to embassy, but she is at Singapore embassy and NSO refuses to send certificate internationally.

Also they want official copy of my divorce papers, not a problem i'll send that.

They want Singaporean police clearance but Police woulnd't give it to her cuz she isn't singaporean, apparently 2 weeks ago Police changed policy and they will issue to non-singaporean on appeal so we are appealing for that now.

Yeah i'm not worried, i'm just sad that it's now 2 more weeks for our process.

I don't know if they actually gave her a slip but they told her what to bring and said to just come back when she has it. One of those things will take 2 weeks.

actually i don't know for sure. You may be able to get exempted somehow from having to do it if you work it out with the philippine embassy but you'd have to talk to them. Karen is going to the SG embassy so they already know about the situation

no they don't issue it. Karen went commissioner of oaths as recommended by the police station to sign an oath that she doesn't have criminal record. Waiting to see if this will be accepted by embassy.

yeah, you get the medical when they send the packet, before the interview. The clinic sends a certificate directly to the embassy but also gives her a copy. I'll have to ask her when she wakes up but I think you need to present the letter in the packet to have the medical so she might need to wait for the packet. It isn't hard though, once she gets the packet she just goes in, i think they accept walk-ins, i wasn't really clear on whether Karen made an appointment or if she wal...

congrats man. When she gets the packet i'd be curios to know if they give her paper applications or if they direct her to the E-Application.

No it's not scheduled yet but it should be soon. We finally got her medical stuff finished up thursday and sent the paper to the embassy stating that we have everything and are ready for the interview. so the embassy should call her soon to set up the interview.

We got NOA2 in the mail. The website isn't updated for it yet and we didn't receive any email or text so i was really surprised.

our last touch online says August 3 but i don't trust the online updates anymore.

I've never seen any changes on mine ever since it was first accepted on July 29th. Do you think this is normal? It just says "initial review" and gives the date of acceptance.
