  1. Hey guys my fiancé and I just received our NOA2 and recently our case was forwarded to MNL consulate, so I started the document that im going to send my fiance according to vj guidelines. My question regarding I134 is that it doesn't state that I don't have to provide an income tax return just a letter from employer and bank statements from bank officer, but the consulate in Manila is asking for one. The thing is that I don't have a recent income tax return yet I've only started working six months ago since I was in school for 5 years and my last income tax file was 5 years ago. Please advise, thank you!

  2. I went to Philippines took up nursing back in 04 and there I met my fiance and been together for 5 years. Now I recently just got back stateside not too long ago about 7 months; took the board exam for nursing on November and I passed it, now I'm a registered nurse. The problem is I have not been able to land any job in hospitals.

I did work part time about 4 months ago but only as cash basis (no paycheck stubs) in a home care facility

after passing the exam the person running the place made an offer to me of helping her run the place, at the moment I make roughly around $2k a month but in cash, but she said that she'll draw up an agreement to give me 40% of what the care facility is earning (so if this deal push through I should be earning $3k - $5k a month. depends in resident ratio)

Now the thing is that for the times I've been working for this company, i've only received cash (no paystubs), and I don't have any income tax return (w-2)since I've been in Philippines for the last 5 years as a student and I have not made enough this year to file for one.

My father is willing to co-sponsor my fiance, there's 4 in his household including me, and he does make enough for the 5 of us (including my fiance) He can provide years of W-2, but his recent one has not arrived yet. Does he still have to get bank statements/letter from the bank and letter from his employer and paystbus etc... if he can provide W-2.

I'm a little weary not having a paystub, what can I use as my supporting documents that I do have an income; would a letter from my employer be sufficient enough?

I do have a bank account and is active.

    Help! Thank you in advance!
