This depends if you have it done in Udon, Thailand or Vientiane. First time around I sent $500 and that covered it. Second time she had to go back to take the vaccination shot $400. The remaining is for traveling and expenses so $1500 is high.

The petition got their on the 12th. They said it's in additional check process. Asked if this was normal and they said YES. Asked if everyone goes through AC. They said NO, call back in two weeks. I was told USCIS sends the petitions in batches. Your petition is probably there already. I assume they meant administrative processing aka as posted on the forum and that blows!
