My fiance passed her interview on Wed 12 May. Does anyone know when she will be able to pick up the visa at the DHL in Moscow?
Thanks, Keith

What about that her Russian passport and documents from embassy have different street addresses?

My fiance in scheduled for her interview on May 12 but I am worried about her address. She and her mother moved in with her step father when she was 7 years old. At this address she and her parents currently reside. This is the address where she gets mail and also the address that we listed on all of the immigration forms. (And where she recieved the packet to schedule the interview)
Problem is, her Russian passport, both hers and her mothers, lists the address they had before moving in with the step father. I guess they never bothered to change it with the government.
Anyway, she told me she is only able to get a police certificate using the addess on her official paperwork (the old one) so I am not sure how the consulate will react to this situation.
If it helps, both addresses are in the same city.
Please help with this question if you can. Thanks.

Thanks! So its similar to here in the US, you just go to the airport with ID and they give you the boarding pass? They dont need the actual credit card that was used to purchase the ticket?
Sorry for all the questions, but my bride doesnt seem to think it will be this easy.

My fiance and I hope that all will go well at the interview and she will be coming home to the US soon. That said, we need to buy her a ticket from Moscow to the US.
Can I log on to travelocity.com or a similar site and buy the ticket in her name. If so, when she arrrives at the airport the day of departure, what documents will she need to prove that she has the ticket (I assume that it will be an e-ticket, similar to what we have here in the US.)
Please let me know. Thanks.

My fiance must travel quite a distance to Moscow for the medical exam and interview. She would prefer that the Visa NOT been sent to her home address as she would like to stay in Moscow and then fly to US upon taking posession of the visa.
Is there a way for her to prevent the visa from being mailed to her home and picking it up in Moscow?
Please let me know. Thanks.

So for the K-1 Visa, I will recieve the NOA2 in the mail before the update is made on the USCIS website (where I enter the case number from the NOA1)?
Does this mean for the K-1 that website is only useful for determining that your check was cashed?

Thanks for the information. Once I get the update on the USCIS web page that the status has been changed to Interview/Testing, I will call the NVC. I assume I can find the phone number on VJ and that they use the same case number.
Thanks again for your help.

How do you recieve your first notification that your case has been moved to the NVC? Will I see an update on the USCIS status page (from Intial Processing to Testing/Interview)? I see that others can post dates but I do not know where they are found.
After that, how do you track the progress through the rest of the system (like when it arrives at the consulate)
Thank you for any help you can provide.

Actually, I didnt ask my fiance about the tracking number because she is going to pick it up at the DHL office. That said, I guess it will be there Monday.
Has anyone else had their fiance pick the visa up at the DHL location in Moscow?
Please let me know. Thanks.
