on the form N-400 question Part 10-H-38- If the law requires it, are you willing to perform noncombatant services in the united states armed forces?

So im confused to answer yes or no and since Im applying for N-400 should I answer yes or no ?

I would like to share my experience about the final step The Naturalization for this october and my questions are :

1-Which the exact form that I should to send ,Tax return or IRS-certified of income tax or IRS tax return transcrip?

2-What they mean by Bank account, like the transactions statment or just a proof of join account?

3-when the Officer ask the civics and government question like (WHO MAKES FEDERAL LAWS? SO should we answer just one of the answers either CONGRESS OR SENATE AND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OR U.S LEGISLATIVE? i'm confused or we have to give all those answers together?

My question is i was trying to get some evidence from our bank because we have joint account since 2010 till now but the bank was not able to provide us the requirement as evidence so, is it possible to put just my copy of one of each as debit card and hide the Numbers on the front and to put a void check that has our both name on it ?

-our drivers license is different address, but we are living together it just she never changer her address on her D license, is it fine without it?

-a letter from our bank as joint account, so it has to be recent date or the oldest and up to date?

-we have the same dental insurance company but it just her name on our both card dental insurance is it fine?

-our Bjs and Ymca card have each name on the card and they are expired? do i need to put them ?

-do i need to put utilities bills, my name on some bills and her name on different bill? the recent or the oldest?

-the hotel reservation it just her name on it but we went all together and its old, is it fine to add it to the case?

-Is it fine to put just one statement for our car insurance both name on it up to date or even the expired insurance copies?

about my case to adjust my status I-485

i sent my case I-485 since july,2010 and the uscis they sent me one notice as to do the physical exam again and the shut but i did already the physical exam in my country and it was available and i did the shut in U.S.

and when i called uscis they said the physical exam that i did it was available only to get my visa fiance K1. the uscis officer said the physical exam is available for one year .they gave only 30 days to figure out

what should i do about this situation plz??

since July 2010 i sent my case to adjust my situation with case I-485 then i did the biometric .and until now i didn't receive nothing about my green card.

1-should i pass an interview?

2-how long it takes to get my green card?

3-what are the process after getting the first green card, what does mean 2 years ??

If they ask you to do it again, you have to do it. This is what happen to me. I have to do 2 biometrics within a 2 months time span. You call USCIS customer service, they will tell you the same thing. Different files are distributed to different departments/officials once they receive your AOS package, so it is up to the officer's discretion and if you play tantrums and don't turn up for it, potentially your case will get deny. By the way, on the top right hand of your NOA, what is the code number? Because 1 means to do both photos and fingerprints, 2 means photos only, 3 means fingerprints only. Mine is 3, so I just need to do fingerprinting for my 2nd biometrics.

the second appointment its the code 2 coz the first one it was the code 3 and i did the both the finger printers and the photo.so how long it takes to get my EAD? thanks

i sent My case I-485 with I-131 to the USCIS ,after 10 days i sent I-765.then i received a first biometric for I-485 and i did that ,after one week i received an other receipt for the biometric for the I-765.

so should i do it again ?the second biometric ?

he is not interested in traveling. we just want everything to go smoothly with the AOS. so besides if he wanted to leave the country (which he definitely wants to do because then he wouldn't be able to get back in), he won't need his I-94? he's already used it to get his temporary drivers license and social security

if he wants travel out U.S so he has fill out the form I-131.that's all

sincerely he cant travel now but if he wants travel while his processing is pending so he has fill out a form I-131 then the USCIS they can send you a authorization with that to travel,be careful to leave your state without I-131.

i have a receipt from USCIS as I-485,I-131,I-765 and im waiting about that .and yesterday i went to do my driver license i gave her my driver license from my country with his translation in english that i can drive here in U.S and i gave her all my receipt to adjust my status (case K1) then she asked me about a receipt of I-130.

so,i would like know if they accept my driver license from my country? and how can i get it easier?

This is what happened at the interview.

He went through security, left his cell phone and ID card.

He sat in a waiting room, they called him to a window, asked for his packet three papers, and passport. Then had him sit back down

Then called to another window to pay, then back to sitting. Then they took his finger prints. Then he waited more, and he said he saw and over heard a few ppl being denied. Then he was the last one there to be interviewed. They took him to a back room, away from were others were being interviewed.

So he sat down, the CO was an a Black female (only being descriptive b/c there are some CO who I hear you want to avoid at all cost .... blonde lady ?) She had him put his thumb on a red scanner, then said sit down.

Here is there conversation:

-She asked do you speak english.....yes

-She asked him to write my name... and he did

-What are you going to do in the USA.....Marry my fiance

-What do you know about her..... He started saying, shes 26, she has a daughter. Then she stopped him.

-How did you find her in the website.....I was searching for some friends, and I found her.

-Why her exactly.....I liked her profile, she was beautiful, and cool. We like the same music, and movies, she likes to have fun, and loves her family.

-Then what ?.....We felt good with each other, and starting chatting in yahoo.

-Whats yahoo?......Its a chat program

-Why Yahoo?......Cause its fast, and easy, and have other options too.

She is writing things down during all of this.

He offered to show her the papers we printed from the website, and a letter from me stating why not Algeria... but she refused to see them. Then he said the tickets were also cheaper to TUnisa, then Algeria.

-Who bought your ticket..... I paid for a car to tunisa, with some help from my dad.

-Dont you have work?....No I just finished school this year.

-What did you go to school for........He stated his degree.

-What will you work in USA.......He said he will work in his degree field

-Who bought her ticket...... She paid for it with her credit card, maybe she had some help from her dad too.

-Then she asked some questions about our stay in the hotel

-She asked who proposed, and when........Me, on March 11th in the hotel

-Why there......b/c I wanted to do this in person. We talked about marriage before, but I think its better to do it officially.

-Have you ever had a relationship before.......No (I'm his first real relationship...though he has talked to other women online, prior to our relationship.

-Then she asked what his dad does for work..... hes retired from working with petrol.

-Did you ever apply for a greencard before.....no

-Did anyone in your family.... yes, but they were denied at the interview. (his dad applied for a family visa for he and his wife and daughter ...a work visa... and his older brother also applied for a visa...tourist visa. They were denied b/c they had no one to support them there.)

Then she just stared at him, gathered his pictures, wrote some things down, stared at him some more. Then said she will give him a paper. It dosn't mean a visa, or denial. That she has to review if our relationship is real, and we will hear from her in a maximum of 60 days.

Then he sent him to the waiting room, then someone called him and gave him the paper.

Long post. Sorry. I just wanted to get everything in...to get the best advice. I think we just wait now. Congressman ??
