My wife got her interview at the American Embassy in Amman on Nov 2. My wife sent in her passport and my original divorce docs (as requested) via Aramex on Nov 7. We are still waiting for her visa. She was told she was approved at the interview. She is pregnant in the second trimester now and we need to be together. I never knew it took so long to get the visa. I sent the American Emassy in Amman a second email on Dec 5 and I have not recieved a response as of yet. Hopefully, we'll get something soon. Good Luck everyone!!!

I just went to my INFOPASS appointment last Thursday on April 1 at the Chicago Field Office to follow-up and the lady told me it can take up to 90 days to hear something. Wow that's a really long time for just setting up an appointment. However, the lady was real nice and she promised that she will send it up to the I-130 unit to let them know I was there.
I am just waiting and waiting. Because I teach here at a university, I just want her papers to come out because I am not able to keep going back and forth.
Good Luck All,
Sam
Sorry to hear this but I am wishing you good luck and see you soon in NVC

Congrats!!! That's great news. I have not heard nothing as of now. They transferred our case to the Chicago Field Office on Feb 23 and I have not recieved an interview date until now.
So I called up USCIS and did a service request last week. I also have an INFOPASS appointment this week on April 1. Hopefully I recieve some information on this interview. I mean over a month a did not recieve an interview date. That's way too much time.
Good Luck To All,

Checking in, too, from Jordan.
I decided to make an infopass appointment. The first day off I have after I get back is March 16, so I will be there with everything I sent in with my I130 and my NOA1! I am not even trying to call USCIS, we all know what they will say!
Sam,
Keep us posted! Can't believe they are pulling you in for an interview at this point of the process! Good luck!
Congrats on the NOA2 Ally. Now u have something to celebrate, I'm pretty sure you are relieved
I am still waiting for the interview date in the Chicago Field Office.
They don't even have a number I can contact them.
Did not come as of yet.
But it's good to hear the great news.
Good Luck

Hi everyone,
I'm still waiting for that interview letter.
Good Luck,
Sam

Yea, the interview will take place in Chicago and it is for me (the petitioner). This interview is before the decision, so it is before it leaves USCIS. I heard they do this for some countries who have shown many fraudalent marriages in the past. I guess Jordan may be one of those countries.
I am still waiting for the paper with my interview time and date. After the interview, they are supposed to send in the NOA2, so it kind of extended the process
a little.
Good Luck To You

I just recieved a text message saying my case has been updated on the USCIS website. I logged in and
it says I'm in the TESTING & INTERVIEW stage now (which is before decision). It states that they transferred my case to Chicago to conduct an interview. I am waiting for the letter now.
I think they need to establish this is legit which is not a problem with me. I mean I love this girl and this is all I wanted too.
Just wanted to update you,
Good Luck

I could do that too if I wanted too, but honestly the US is my country and I love it here. My work, my dreams and everything
I'm doing is here in the US and I just need her to be with me and share the special moments.
I know it is tough but we have no choice except to wait.
Good Luck,
Sam

Alice, thats pretty good you can go down there and check him out. I'm pretty much stuck with work because I;m a teacher.

Sam

Hi everyone,
I'm waiting too. My NOA1 is on 10-21-09 and since I'm
a teacher here, I honestly am stressed out. I can't just leave my
work and see her.
Hope it comes soon.
God bless you all,
Peace, Sam

Well I have to say........Congrats to all who have been approved. I'm in the same boat you're in Ally. All the countries
are going through except Jordan.........so don't know why? Hopefully, we'll get it this week sometime.
Hang in there,
Sam
