We just went through this. We filed our i751 in Dec 2012 and got an RFE in June. We have a nonrefundable trip to the Philippines planned this month and just got a notice that we will be required to come for an interview right in the middle of our trip. We tried to get an infopass but it said that none were available for our local office. We went to the office with the letter and copies of our trip itinerary but were refused entry. The guard said nothing can be done but to write a request for rescheduling with copies of the tickets.

I sent it last week certified mail. Hopefully we wont have a problem as my wife left a few days ago and I will join her in a few weeks. If they refuse to reschedule we wont find out until after we return and it is too late.

She was approved at the embassy today! We will book a flight for her for Oct, I can't wait!

She pasted her medical today! Now she is off to take her CFO session, next week is her interview.

Interview set for Aug. 18th.

Received our letter from the embassy today telling us it is ok to schedule interview.

My fiancée still hasn't received anything from the embassy.

So our information was sent to the Manila embassy on June 29th. Anyone have any idea how long it should take before the embassy contacts my fiancee? We are worried that she may never receive the packet as the mail delivery is so unreliable there.

Try to call USEM to confirm.. When my fiance called they told him they received it and as long as u already received letter from the NVC stating that your packet was sent to MANila, you can now set for an interview.

I did this and it shows that something was delivered to Manila on the 6th but how would I know if that is ours or someone elses? I am sure ours was not the only one sent that day.

I been reading everyone's stuff for the last month. I am so GLAD now that this website is here!!

I just got an email from CSC Center that I just got an RFE on my NOA2 for the I-129 Visa. I don't know why!! My fiance is Australian we meet while I was in grad school and have been together over a year. I sent in everything they needed, photos, airline tixs, emails, letters etc and still RFE. Its 12am on the west coast so I can't call to find out more. It this normal? do most people get a RFE, why do you think I have gotten one?

The projected time line for the 129F on the CSC has changed from 5 months to 6 now. Looks like they are going slower then they were in the last few months.

We have to hang in there. I keep telling myself that yeah it's horrible now.. but once this whole thing is over we will NEVER have to leave each other again!

Do you guys keep in touch everyday? Because that's our biggest problem lately- sometimes we can't hear each other for two days.. gosh I HATE the phone game!

We do spend a couple of hours a day on Yahoo messenger and phone calls ever few days. It is hard one one of us is very busy with the time difference and have to miss out on spending as much time talking. At least we are getting close to the time apart being over.

Anyway I haven't seen my fiance in 8 months now .. I am flying to Bulgaria on July 14th to stay with him for 1.5 months and I cannot wait .. my life is pretty much a series of countdowns right now.. Two months exactly till I finally see him

On a separate note have any of you guys not seen your loved ones for that long?

It's been 7 months for us, it is pretty hard to deal with waiting and unfortunately we probably wont see each other until she is approved. That is several months away still.

Great news!

We finally received our NOA1 hard copy, it was lost in the mail. It was delivered by a very apologetic neighbor that had it for the last week and had opened it without without looking at the name.

I am starting to get worried about both my mail service as well as my fiancee's. She says that the mail service is very unreliable and overrun with fraud. My mail is constantly delivered to the wrong address and sometimes on a completely different street. I really hope nothing important ends up going missing.

Have you looked at the back of you check yet for a receipt number so you can check your status?

I just looked, I was able to get the receipt number and go online to check on it. It says it is in the "Initial Review" stage. I was able to set up email and text notification. Is this the same as a NOA just a online record of it?

What does Touched mean?
