    ONE year ago today I called the DOS and a nice lady told me that my husband (then fiance) Interview was on Nov 5, 2010 at 7am....it has been 8months now and he is settled with job car and lots of love Thank you LORD!!!!

    Just got txt/email that EAD card has been ordered! However we already got the greencard in the mail April 1st. No interview needed and it came 1month 3weeks 3days after filing for AOS.....we thank GOD o!

    After 4 txt msg of approval and card production blah blah we finally got the green card in the mail today 1month 3weeks and 3days later i thank God wow the journey has finally come to close for now! GLORY!

    Ok people now at about 6pm I got a second txt that said this: On March 28, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later......Does this mean we are approved? So confused

      no he hasnt gotten a state ID, when we went to the DMV they told us he wasnt eligible. but now i read that he can get one with his ss card. so we will try again this week. the fact that the biometrics came soon means that everything else will come soon also in JEsus name

      woohoo!!!!!!!! We are almost done. I was waiting on letter from my job, but we have been snowed in all week so I will have to get the letter next week, then we can send it off.       i hear you, thanks to this snow day, I am able to work on the AOS application. I have some questions. On the affidavit of support did you put your maiden or married name? Also, do you go ahead and apply for the travel visa even if we are not planning on traveling? We may try to go to Naija for Christmas. Thanks!

      congrats on moving ahead in the paperwork. Do you mean you have to file your 2010 taxes and attach with the AOS packet? did you go to the civil surgeon? was it expensive?
