    me and my husband receive our interview date for my AOS this July 26, now we are confused because everything is complete except for this FORM 1-693 (medical examination and vaccination supplement sealed in enveloped??? what is this ?? because im done with my medical back in Philippines and when i arrived here at the US the immigration personel at the airport got my xray cd and was left for me is only the vaccination supplemental now there is also such civil surgeon ??? what will we do?? do we still need to file that form and bring in our interview date, and who are those they call civil surgeon? is my husband family doctor can check me and fill out the said form??? pleaseeee HELP US... tnxx

    search for a civil surgeon near your area.(you can use the uscis website for the search) try to call first and ask how much will it cost you. tell 'em that you already had your medical and you just need 'em to transcribe the vaccination form. I-693 is the form that they will give you.

    It cost me $30 for that.

    I called uscis to ask if they already got my aos application or its lost in the email cause its been 16 days since i sent it and still have no idea where was the applciation. Luckily, the guy didn't told me to wait for 30 days and try to call again. He ask for my perosonal info and said that they just had my aos palliction in thier systme june 7th. so need ot wait for 10-15 more days for them so send noa1 and to encash the check. so hells yea! application isnt lost and they are starting to work on my application.

    Hello everyone,

    it looks like we all filed our cases about the same time ..This waiting is killing me, i haven't hear or get anything from USCIS after my biometrics, all comments welcome :)

    3/25/11 Got Married

    5/3/11 Sent AOS package

    5/5/11 Package received signed by; R.Mercado

    5/13/11 Received NOA1 (6th day)

    5/16/11 Biometrics Letter (8 days)

    5/20/11 Walk in Biometrics done

    i havent hear anything since i sent my aos application.Thursday will be the third week. Consider yourself lucky. :)

    I had plenty of time preparing for a small wedding, since we got NOA2 July, 2010 , did medical last October and interview last November. Need to delay it coz my fiance was deployed at iraq and he will be back March 2011 in the states. Since both of us aren't in the states to plan a small wedding, his mom and my friend helped us. Our weddign will be at Argosy Cruises in Seattle, Washington. My friend who lives in Seattle said she will take care of our invitation coz his hubby own a printing shop. :) We don't really have a theme/motif for the wedding, but my fiance likes sakura/ cherry blossom. We found a very affordable cherry blossom candle for our wedding favor, the invitation's design would also be sakura and my fiance's mom will give us a 3 layered cake with cherry blossom design. I have wedding gown already and will wear fake cabbage rose instead of veil/tiara. I don't have bouquet yet, dont know what flower to used. My friend knows a florist in Seattle so we'll see if it would be far less than $200. I dont want to spend that much for a bouquet. We don't have center piece for tables yet coz i also want it to be cherry blossom just to keep up with the theme. But if not maybe we can just get tall vases and cut branches and paste silk cherry blossom. if not there will be alot of cheap spring flowers for the centerpiece. :) i hard to plan a wedding, since my fiance can't do much coz he's at iraq.

    OMG, good thing i read this thread. My airline is also Delta and flight will be on 26th of March. I think i will ask my fiance for photo copy and authorization letter. My fiance is currently deployed at Iraq, I'm not sure if he will have time to go to DElta airline office at Idaho. Or if there's an office in Idaho.

    hi. i tried to fill out the ds 160 online application form for my family. They will apply family tourist visa. I tried to fill out one for my mom, i forgot to enter her middle name and i already submitted it. i also failed to print out the confirmation letter cause i can't go back to it after i choose to print the application form (which isnt important for the interview). Plus i don;t know how to the family/ group online application. Please help me if i can still fill out another form for my mom? help is badly needed. thanks

    Hello to all my visajourney family.

    My warm Christmas greetings from Philippines and "Mabuhay" !

    I am not new on this site, been here for a couple of months already, only i am not so familiar on how to post some topics or concerns.

    We already received the NOA2 via online on November 23,2010 and the hard copy was received November 30, 2010 but we are still hanging on the notice since there is no exact details on what to do next and how long will it take before to proceed to the next step etc Besides, i also have a query about this concern of mine and i do hope i can ask your favor to answer things below.

    My query runs this way:

    1. How long does our Application would be at NVC as it is not specified in the NOA2 received?

    -----Some says 1-2 weeks. Maybe your fiance can call the NVC now. Ask if you have Manila case number and if they already sent letter to your fiance.

    2. What possible date i can get a call or receive a notice from the Consulate or manila Embassy for an interview?

    ------US Embassy in Manila won't call you. They will send you letter that they got your case and you can schedule for an interview.

    3 At present I am working as permanent employee in the National Government Agency, can you please tell me what specific documents i need to secure from my work and how soon will i secure the necessary documents?

    ----- You dont have to secure anything from your work. Its your fiance who will send you I-134 (affidavit of support) and other documents like W2, Form 1040,current pay stubs, employment letter and other supporting documents that he earns 125% poverty line and can support you in US. You can start securing nbi,cenomar,birth certificate, proof of on going relationship.

    hi. if your case is at manila embassy, you have a year to schedule for an interview. when you pass the interview, i guess you have 5-6 months to go to US. your medical result is valid for 6 months. My petiton got approved july,2010. i have my medical october and interview on november and if i passed the interview, i plan to go to US on march 2011.

    1. Proof of payment- paid $350 at BDO nov.4

    2. DS 156 2 copies with 2x2 picture attached - TO BE ACCOMPLISH, FOR SOME REASON I CAN'T PRINT IT COZ AFTER I CLICK ON CONTINUE, IT SAYS ERROR SOMETHING SOMETHING. WILL TRY TO ACCOMPLISH IT TOMORROW

    3. DS 157 2 copies

    5. birth certificate issued by NSO

    7.CENOMAR- issued by NSO dated Sept. 7, 2010. DO YOU THINK I STILL NEED TO GET A NEW ONE?

    Thanks for the help... How early is the date of CENOMAR they would accept before the interview? coz it takes more than a week to get it. How's your medical experience? Do you need an appointment first before going to St.Lukes?

    Someone told me that CENOMAR is valid for 120 days some said 3 months. I requested mine September, then my interview date is Nov.17. My medical experience was ok, thankGod no sputum test/culture for me. I went at st.lukes around 5:30 am and finished around 9:30am. Medical at st. lukes is walk in no need for appointment

    The Petitioner needs to ready the form I-134, payslips,W2,letter of employment etc and also letter of intent. The fiance might start working securing NBI clearnace, passport (lol), Birth certificate, CENOMAR. Like what flybyday said, proof of on going relationship and genuine engagement. When you have your manila case number, or received a letter from embassy, you can now schedule for an interview. Medical should be done at least a week before the interview. In my case, since i was scared of the sputum test, i had my medical 3 weeks before my interview. Goodluck on your journey :)
