My interview was approve on the spot today, the IO stamp my permanent residence on my passport, said i should receive the green card in the mail. The interview was very smooth and alot of chat..I will post my experience on here soon...But what a relief!!!!

Ho-ho! Apparently my last post about my interview was too long. I just got the notice in my email while writing the long story that card production has been ordered! Yaaay!

My husband just told me chuck the celebratory wine into the freezer and get wasted lol

I'm assuming your hubby is the USC...I don't think he needs to bring his other passport

How long would it take to get it reviewed? Does he have two passports? It seems like he is the one adjusting status based on his marriage to you. He will need his I-94 from the passport I believe. He probably needs his passport for the interview as well. If you are worried, I would make an infopass appointment or call the number on the NOA1/interview letter.

So freaking excited!!!

BUT, I have a quick question to ask... My hubby's passport is expired. Does he need to get his passport renewed prior to the interview?? The (non US) passport is expired. He send if off to be renewed however if it is not necessary I'd rather do it after we have the interview. Any thoughts?

Congrats!!! Looks like the 3 of us got the approvals around the same time! Crazy but finally!!!

Now I can focus on getting us ready for the interview ...it is a little over a month away so I have plenty of time to freak out and get paranoid! Haha

Finally... EAD and AP approved!!! So happy, but I'm really drained from the process and ready for the interview and GC...But nonetheless, still happy!

Finally!!!!! We received 2 text and 2 emails letting us know that the EAD and AP were approved and production ordered (EAD)... I was getting scared for a minute that they forgot about, but just as VJ said those two were approved today!!! I'm so freaking happy!!! Now bring on the interview letter!!!

I'm also just praying for that stupid EAD at least. Need to go to work so bad. I feel like an idiot waiting for an interview letter 35 days. And who knows when the heck will it come. When did you get your last update on their website? You are the only one who I can relate to.

Last touch was 4/19 which was 3 days after biometrics... Praying for both of us to hear something soon!!! As soon as I hear something I will let you know! There is one more ATL filer in March, who got an RFE this week, but I they don't have a timeline posted...

I guess you didn't hear any news yet also... I see some april fillers received interview letters. What is the deal with Atlanta?!

I'm really growing impatient and if I check that website one more time and see no changes I'm going to crazy! My poor hubby is even getting impatient and he's one of the most patient people I know! It's very frustrating. At least send the EAD! He's so ready to go back to work. I really thought things would be better, but this is ATL..! I guess immigration runs like city government.

Thanks. My time-line is almost similar to yours and you did file the same papers as i did so i am sure your interview notice is right behind mine.......maybe in the mail. You should definitely hear something this week.

Our time-lines are similar! And yes, I did the same papers as you... So I'm thinking we should get our interview letter next week, but Atlanta is a little backed up so if not I know why... Congrats again!

GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!!! Just got home and found an Interview appointment letter dated (NOTICE) April 27th. This is for a JUNE 3rd Appointment. I was so worried about having no touches. My status still shows no touches and is still on the Initial review status. Hope all you others get yours going too.

Seems like lotta people here's got the interview letter.. I'm checking my status online everyday anxiously, as I have to start a job end of June... I had to negotiate really hard for them to wait for me for 2 months. I REALLY hope things come through by then!

I'm also a March flier!!! I'm in the other March group however they are mostly K1's therefore I check in here as well to see how it's coming for you guys... My husband is on a J-1 so we relate to this thread more than the other...

Anyone who is NOT transferred to CSC and filed ONLY for I-130 and AOS packet (+ I-765/ I-131)..........have you gotten any touches or anything since after your biometrics? Just curious.

Nothing since April 19th... Waiting for EAD or interview letter any day now... Based on the time lines of others... Looks like 2 weeks after biometrics you get your interview letter. Just waiting...

Hubby just walked into our local Atlanta office and had is biometrics done!!! Doing the happy dance!!! And I found out last night that Atlanta local office is doing AOS in 4 months! They are finally caught up!
