ahh thanks... great I have to send more money now :-P
-
The Moscow site still says $131. I had my fiancee call a few weeks ago and she said her interview date which is in the middle of June and they said it is $131. Is this right?
-
Thanks alot guys I appreciate it!
-
So if my fiancee shows the I-134 (that I signed today) at the embassy they won't return it cause it will be expired by the time she hands it to the officer will she? My signature will be there before the expiration date.
-
Congratulations!
-
By the way, I just noticed that the form expires on May 31st but I checked the site and they dont have a new one yet. Can I go ahead and send this one?
-
If I fill out the property owned estimate section would it matter? Do I need receipts of everything to show that I have these things or no?
-
Alright sounds good. Although I did find out from my employer that I can add Katya to my life insurance and thats its easy. So I think ill just do that. I dont own a home so maybe this will help me out a bit more. I have the last 5 pay stubs and the bank letter. Do I need the last 3 bank statements as well? I'll go ahead and get rid of the personal property stuff since I don't have receipts for all those. She already has my W2 and 1040 for 09.
-
I think the Moscow one only requires the last year's tax returns. I did include the W2 as well. So should I not include the life insurance I have or the amount of stuff that I have (car, computer, etc)?
-
Ahh sorry. Yeah I included the 2009 tax returns :-)
OK so should I erase the personal property thing or just leave it? Same with the life insurance , should I just leave it or erase?
-
Ok I found a page in the Employee handbook that talks about the life insurance policy. I just printed that page from the handbook and highlighted it. I hope thats enough to provide proof of that.

Hi,
I am getting ready to send the I-134 to my fiancee via DHL and I just wanna make sure I have everything. So if you guys could help me out that would be great :-)
I have a letter from my employer stating when I started, how much I make, and my current position.
My employer says I have a life insurance of twice my salary but I dont have anything stating that but I put it on my I134 anyway.
I have several pay stubs.
I am going to get the letter from my bank stating the account number and how much in it.
I have some personal property but no house or anything (just some computer, a car I paid off, and a TV) should I put the value of the estimate of it worth?
I am I alright with all this?
Thanks for the help :-)

Congrats--I hope we have the same success as you and AKGuy!
Salsa Shark.. I am just wondering how you got a June 8th interview date? Lucky dog!
-
Well hopefully tomorrow then :-)
-
AKguy .. has she gotten her visa yet?
-
Congratulations !!
-
Congratulations! Ours will be in June.. ahh the waiting is horrible.
-
As everyone always says, "DO NOT BOOK the tickets UNTIL THE VISA IS IN HER HAND!"
Or unless you book with that flight insurance that it can be cancelled of moved.
-
I am not 100% sure but I think that also depends what DHL service you used. If you get the over night envelop then I think a week is might be alright.
-
After waiting for months, you can wait a few more days.
Yeah definitely!
-
So you are saying the printing of the sticker is done in the US and sent along with the package over to the embassy and then they affix it to the passport.. so whats with all the extra stuff? I am guessing they run a criminal check .. thats why they need the finger prints and they have the police records. Shouldnt take them long right? Unless I am missing something else.
-
I see.. heh.. well whats in the processing of the paper work .. just data entry stuff ? The printing shouldn't take too long.. I guess it depends on what kind of printer they have
-
I was just wondering why isn't the K1 visa issued the same day at the Moscow embassy? Isn't everything ready after the interview?
-
I've actually decided to send the I-134 , new letter of intent, bank statements, 3 recent pay stubs and letter from employer to her .. all signed and originals (although I did make copies to keep for myself) and PDFd them as well. She already has my W2s from last year and tax return from last year (gave it to her earlier this year).
APPROVED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
