Yes, got mine May 31st Thursday. Boy, it was a long waiting, let's see - 7 months and 10 days. Congratulations to all of us
-
On May 29, 2012, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
Just got the same thing. And we are from the same state, btw. Probably we'll get them the same day. Won't be able to check the mail till Friday, so I'll sneak peak on you

I got message and update yesterday about 4 pm May 23 (my decision date was April 25, almost a month). Funny part, at 11 something pm I got another update (on my cell). that woke me up. I don't think somebody was working on my case at that time of night, so second update is just automatic then.
-
Just received card production texts and email fingers crossed for getting it in the mail this week! Woohoo!!
Was your decision date April 16th or you got your letter at April 16th? And congratulations )
-
marie09, wasab, did your on-line status at USCIS web-site changed also? And was it the first change from the time they received your I-751 last year?
-
Geez, congrats, marie09, hopefully this very last stage (mailing) will go smoothly.
Funny, before I started my I-751 processing last year I was under impression that the whole process takes like 3-4 months max, that what I was getting from people I knew who applied in 2010 - 2011. Now it seems like it's 2 more months + AFTER approval. that's really crazy.
-
Putting our patience through the test once again... Did anybody get their actual green card among those approved in the middle - second part of April?
-
I got an approval letter from them (decision date 25th of April), but on-line status never changed, no emails or messages. Looks like they are really slammed there or understaffed big time...
-
And is it ok to get paranoid and think that sometimes after approval they change their mind and want something else from you?
-
So, does anybody know if after approval supposed to be card production letter or they just send the card?
-
After the approval letter, do they now also send card production letter or they just send the actual card?
-
We've sent about 30 actual pictures (4*6) in the envelope, with description in the back (month and year and place).
-
holy cow, only 3 outsiders from California ((( Including myself...
-
October 19th, I think. And Biometrics were actually November 18th,
-
Please, add me on this waiting list... They got our package October 22 2011. NOA October 30. Biometrics November 19. Got (lucky me) RFE April 5, responded April 13. Nothing since... I'm not a happy camper, never liked waiting games. Our petition is joint, California.

We have been living together since the day of marriage (even far before that actually), but most of the time we've lived with my hubby's parents (no bills or official lease). For about 9 months we've lived with my husband's friend (no bills again). We included letters from they saying we've lived with them. And just a month ago we got our first very own apartment with lease and electric. People in USCIS hopefully can see we are pretty young (in our 20-s still) and don't have much money (tax returns and bank accounts prove that), so living with relatives was saving us money.
Also we provided copies of ID's with same address.
-
I already sent them my reply, but it did say REPLY BY JUNE 27th in that blue sheet. It was white paper attached to the blue sheet with the list of what they want - copies of ID's (mine and sponsor's) ; Birth certificates of children (we don't have them yet); proof of communal residency.
-
I also filed in October and just got and replied A RFE (it was pretty specific - they wanted proof of communal residency). I put some newer evidence but i don't know if it's good enough. My question is - should I still call them after I pass my 6 months waiting or not? Are they gonna tell me that because I got RFE it's gonna be def longer for me? Does anybody know any statistic of interview after RFE? And how long does it take them to look at my papers after they get my RFE answer?
-
Just got a RFE ((( I'm wondering how they think we should be able to fit our extra evidence in this tiny envelope they provide? Do we even have to use it (I'm talking about one with red writing on it)?
-
Again, as I said before, I DO have special circumstances (real and serious not just vacation plans) so I need approval / decision asap. And I just past 5 months from them getting my papers (it's California btw). I've heard if i call I need to talk to "second level clerk" or something like that, so they can give me me more update? Is it truth and can i really do anything before I wait for 6 months?
-
So, you didn't wait until 6 months? When exactly did you file? I'm debating with myself if I should call them (I passed 5 months) or wait...
-
I don't want to be rude but there are plenty of people still waiting for approvals and many have been waiting longer than 5 months. We all have circumstances that warrant a quick approval. I wouldn't recommend sending in any more documentation, it will probably get lost. If they need something else, they'll send an RFE. You can always call if you like but they won't be of much help unless it's been 6 months for CSC. Even then, unless you speak to a level 2 officer, they will just read you what they see online which is the same as you can track on the USCIS website. We'll never understand the ways of USCIS and we all must sit and wait patiently. At least we get to do it together.
That's ok, I understand that's how it goes. I guess just gonna wait till 6 months and than give them a call.
-
it's been 5 months for me (California). I'm loosing my patience and I have curcumstances, I need my card (or at least RFE by now). I'm thinking about writing them, calling would be too early I guess (I have to wait until 6 months for that, right?). Also since we sent I-751 package, we've got some more evidence (car together, lease and some other stuff). I almost feel like just sending it without them asking, do you think it's a good idea?
-
June has just above 15000 applicants, which is the highest it has been in FOREVER. Its almost double what it has been for other months including sept 11. It's way too early to even start worrying yourself, because you still have a long wait.
How did you get this information?
