  1. On May 29, 2012, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Just got the same thing. And we are from the same state, btw. Probably we'll get them the same day. Won't be able to check the mail till Friday, so I'll sneak peak on you

  2. We have been living together since the day of marriage (even far before that actually), but most of the time we've lived with my hubby's parents (no bills or official lease). For about 9 months we've lived with my husband's friend (no bills again). We included letters from they saying we've lived with them. And just a month ago we got our first very own apartment with lease and electric. People in USCIS hopefully can see we are pretty young (in our 20-s still) and don't have much money (tax returns and bank accounts prove that), so living with relatives was saving us money.

Also we provided copies of ID's with same address.

  3. I also filed in October and just got and replied A RFE (it was pretty specific - they wanted proof of communal residency). I put some newer evidence but i don't know if it's good enough. My question is - should I still call them after I pass my 6 months waiting or not? Are they gonna tell me that because I got RFE it's gonna be def longer for me? Does anybody know any statistic of interview after RFE? And how long does it take them to look at my papers after they get my RFE answer?

  4. Again, as I said before, I DO have special circumstances (real and serious not just vacation plans) so I need approval / decision asap. And I just past 5 months from them getting my papers (it's California btw). I've heard if i call I need to talk to "second level clerk" or something like that, so they can give me me more update? Is it truth and can i really do anything before I wait for 6 months?

  5. I don't want to be rude but there are plenty of people still waiting for approvals and many have been waiting longer than 5 months. We all have circumstances that warrant a quick approval. I wouldn't recommend sending in any more documentation, it will probably get lost. If they need something else, they'll send an RFE. You can always call if you like but they won't be of much help unless it's been 6 months for CSC. Even then, unless you speak to a level 2 officer, they will just read you what they see online which is the same as you can track on the USCIS website. We'll never understand the ways of USCIS and we all must sit and wait patiently. At least we get to do it together.

That's ok, I understand that's how it goes. I guess just gonna wait till 6 months and than give them a call.

  6. it's been 5 months for me (California). I'm loosing my patience and I have curcumstances, I need my card (or at least RFE by now). I'm thinking about writing them, calling would be too early I guess (I have to wait until 6 months for that, right?). Also since we sent I-751 package, we've got some more evidence (car together, lease and some other stuff). I almost feel like just sending it without them asking, do you think it's a good idea?
