Yay, Indy driver licence arrived today.

Footpaths (sidewalks), what are those? I haven't seen one for so long that I've forgotten what they look like :-)

Y is sick of Indiana and wants to progress with his job. He might stay in the same company but move location out of Indiana. I just hate anywhere that it is essential for me to have a car. I like having the ability to use public transport, or God forbid - Walk! The only think I like is the gym that I work in.

PS we can't wait to leave Indy. Once a new job is secured we will hopefully either be on the west coast somewhere or the east coast and leave the mid-west behind forever!

Somebody has to love Ohio! canning EAD because now have GC so don't need it. GC replacement currently has 3.5 month estimate but I'm hoping that they'll be speedy since it's just a misspelling and it was their fault!

Hey Meggy. USCIS stuffed up my name on all my documents so waiting to get a GC reissued with the name right but other than that fine.

AOS approved and got email saying card production ordered.

Meggy, sorry that we couldn't meet up in Cincinnati. Have you been there? We really liked what we saw. It was so not a mid-west city! And we're getting the car (subject to the finance)!

How did your dress shopping go?

We had a weekend at going to a vineyard and hanging out at home. I went to get my social security number yesterday and did a bit of shopping. The sales are on and I could have spent so much more than I did! PS - clear out your inbox!

Yeah, I Cinncinati would be an idea, if that's not too far for you. Good luck with getting the visa by Friday. I'm pretty much all packed! I think I've worked out how I'm getting the stuff there, but not sure about customs. Oh well, see what happens.

Just been checking shipping prices. You're so lucky that you can drive your stuff there! I found out it could cost about £350 (alot) to ship my small amount of stuff over!

oh, here's hoping that flights stay cheap for you! It's so stupid, 1 way costs more than return so I'm booking return and cancelling the return portion. Airlines apparently hate that but too bad, it's their fault for doing stupid pricing! I'm worried to book now cause I read that if you were born out of the UK they often do extra b/g checking after the interview. #######...

I know, the expenses are awful. I'm still trying to decide if I should just book my flight to the US now and risk it or if I should wait. The prices become extortionate in July though cause it's school holidays!

Hey Terri, glad to hear that you're settling in. Good luck with the wedding. We're going to do the registry office and then have a party early next year when my parents have to be over in the US or Canada for Dad's work.
