Have you heard anything from the embassy since the earthquake and tsunami? It seems everything is on hold based on the message posted on tokyo.usembassy.gov, but it's a bit unclear since it only mentions non-immigrant visa situations. Good luck with your process. You're a couple weeks ahead of us!
