HI, any help is appreciated. i am about to send the AOS for my husband and we are moving out east the end of this month. my parents address has always served me well in my many transitions as my permanent address however i am concerned that if i put a milwaukee address my husband will have his biometrics appt. in milwaukee.

is this true? or can i call a hotline and change it.

i do not want to put the new address out east b/c we will probably move in a year again once i finish school

hi, i have not intended trip planned for the next 12 months with my husband but we will eventually want to go back to his country. anyways. how long is an AP good for? and how long would it take us to get an emergency AP in case of a family crisis?

is there a cost difference between the AP and emergency AP?

and when do folks generally apply for the AP, right when they adjust status? or months after?

i am going to send the AOS soon and i want to get the EAD going too. will efiling acceleratet the process for getting the EAD?

also: when would i call for a biometrics appt.?

or do they write me?

also: why can't i open the EAD instructions on the guide on this site? it says file damaged

hey we are gettting together our AOS before i start school in july. my current address is in Wisconsin and we don't have our address in NY yet.

if they assign a biometrics appt. somewhere in the midwest can we switch it to NY?

note: the NY address wont be a permanent address, just a place of residency for ayear.

about 16 months ago we got the NOA2 approval and now preparing to file the AOS i can't seem to find the NOA2 can i call some department to get another sent to me?

i will keep looking but so far, not so good

we went to the SSoffice and they gave us a letter saying it would take about 4 weeks until "we check the do. you gave us to show your age."

is that a euphenism for immigration status?

does that mean my fiance wasn't in the system yet?

we went just under 2 weeks from his date of arrival.

anyways he came here wednesday and we are planning on getting married and filing the adjustment paperwork within the next 4 weeks or 6 weeks or so. (as soon as he gets his soc card)

i want to get this adjustment out of the way before i begin school and hopefully get him the legal right to work with the EAD as soon as possible.

which address should i use? what if they call him for biometrics in the city we are not living in at the time?

hey say someone entered thru JFK, what are the odds of getting a temp EAD?

are there any other POE that issue them?
