What time limit do we have to file for the AOS. My wife has been here for about 6 months now and we been married for about 4 months. my question is.. is there a time frame to file for the AOS?

my fiance got her fiance visa. whe is coming from manila philippines.

i bought her flight from manila to atlanta.. but she has a stop in japan.

my question or concern is.. all she has is a usa visa.. philippine passport. will this be any problem to connect though japan?

my fiance went to her interview. she forgot to bring my 1040 tax paper. so they sent her away and told her to bring it back with her passport.

so she returned the following week. showed the guy at the window my 1040 tax paper and check stubs and letter from my employer..

she asked the guy did i pass.. he just said ok and told her to prceed to air21. so she went to the air21 counter and they said she can pay the delivery guy upon arrival.

the guy at the widnow never said if she passed or failed. so she asked other filipino's there and they said the guy didnt tell them either if they passed or failed. he just ok to them too.

does it sound like she passed? they kept her passport and sending it air21 so does it sound like she passed?

my fiance went to her interveiw in manila.. she passed all except i forgot to send her my 2009 taxes. so they asked her to come back and bring the 2009 tax return.

she is about to go back to the embasy on thursday.

so here is my problem.

i had just finished school in 2009. i went to college to be a locksmith. i opened my own business on about may 2009. so i didnt get a full year of taxes. i earned $20,000 on my taxes.. but after deductions from starting my business up i earned about a $10,000 profit.

i decided to get a second job. so i started working at a second job in november 2009 and earned an addition $3000 from november to december 2009 on that tax return.

so between my newly started business and my new job i only got a partial taxes for 2009 year and i didnt get a full year of taxes.. im still employed at my second job and earn $350 a week. i provided proof of all this and sent it to my fiance.

i also own a house (no mortgage) valued at $185,000. i sent her the copy of the deed as well as state property tax paper showing i own the house.

i have bank accounts with about $10,000 in them.

i have my mom to co-sponsor for us.. but i heard manila doesnt allow co-sponsors.

so my question is. since i onlyh worked a partial year and 2009 and even though i earned $20,000 and only show a $10,000 profit. but i also have a second job. does it sound like to you guys she has a chance to pass the interview.

please help me .. im sooo worried me and her are so stressed and just need a bit of advice from you guys who have been through this before. thank you so much and godbless.

my fiancee had a medical exam yesterday. the lady told her that they are going to forward the results and her passport to the embassy. does this mean she passed?

i am confused on how much to send my fiancee for her visa fee.. i heard its $131 then i hear its $350.. do you guys know which one it is for manila philippines? i checked the philippines embassy website for non immigrant visa's but the page cannot be displayed when i click the visa fee link.

hi, i know the interview fee is $131 each for my fiancee and her child at BDO bank in manila.. does anyone know how much the visa fee is once they approve her and our kid? how much is the air 21 fee to have her visa mailed.. thanks you guys so much in advance for your answers.. everyone on VJ is the best.

please any one else has had medical at st lukes with just the NVC case number? i need u guys help really bad. thanks.

hi, my fiancee is going to her medical exam tomorrow at st lukes. she has her NOA2. Interview appointment letter. She doesn't have a letter from the NVC with the MNL case number on it. we know the NVC case number though but no letter. i have seen posted on here she will need the NOA2, appointment letter and NVC case number in order to get her medical and be let into st. lukes.

so my question is.. can she still proceed to have her medical exam even without a letter with NVC case number on it? again we know the NVC number but have no offical letter with it on it. will they let her come in st lukes? maybe some of you guys that had your medicals done did they request that letter?

i filed for the fiance visa. my fiance has her interview in a few weeks in manila.. when i visited the philippines we took like maybe only 5 photos. my question is this enough? will there be any problem bcuz i see alot of you guys haveing hundreds of photos.. has anyone ever passed with only 4-5 photos in manila? my god im getting nervous now.. we took them on her phone but i will have them transfered and printed at walgreens. please tell me your personal experiences and give me a peice of mind.

hi.. im about to schedule my fiancee interview.. my fiance has a kid.. will the kid need the G325A forms for his K2 visa?

we got our NOA2 and im scheduling the interview in the next couple of days.. i understand that there is a poverty guideline of 125%.. i dont know if i meet that line.. maybe u guys can help explain to me your thoughts and if would meet the requirements.. i will bring my fiancee akiko, and her son aeko with me here on the the k1 visa and k2 visa.. so its me my fiancee and her son i will be supporting.

i own my own buisness.. just got out of school this past year.. i am a locksmith and earned $19,600 and have tax papers where i filed this year.

i have about $10,000 in the bank

i also own a house thats worth $180,000

will this be enough income and assests? will they require more income or a cosponsor?

i just called the national visa center this morning.. they said that they have shipped the petetion to manila embassy through DHL..

my question is does anyone know about how long it takes to get from NVC to the embassy?

and after it gets there we can go ahead and schedule the interview right?

hello we was approved for the k1 visa at the vermont service center on FEB 25th.. i have the NOA2 reciept, got it in the mail yesterday. i called NVC and they received our petetion and gave me the case number.. it hasn't been sent to manila yet.. and i havnt recieved in the mail a letter from NVC yet.

my question is since i have the hard copy of the NOA2 but not a copy of the letter from NVC yet.. but i know the case number.. can she go ahead and get an medical done? or do we have to have also the paper from NVC?

hello, i recieved my NOA2 in the email today.. my fiancee has a kid that will be joining her as a K2 visa.. i have paid for the interview the $131 fee and BDO in manila.

my question is do i have to also pay an additional $131 for the kid for the interview?

well got home tonight.. i checked my receipt number. i got my NOA1 on NOV 4th..

well i made $20,000 on tax returns this year.. so im using my bank account and my house to make up for the additnal needed income. my house is estimated valued at $200,000 and i have $10,000 in the bank.

i have bank statements but do i need someone from the bank to write a letter to be able to use the amount in my bank?

Im filling out the affidavit of support for my fiancée for her interview. on the instructions it ask for bank statements of when the account was opened total deposits and current account balance. im a little confused.

i went to the bank and go a print out of my business account and personal account and savings account.

so my question is.. do they want me to get a letter from an employee from the bank? Or will just the print outs from the bank satisfy this.

my noa1 was on November 4th.. they have not even approved but only 3 petitions on this date. why they skip november 4th?

i was reading thrugh all the VJ forums and i saw lots of other couples were able to visit each other. my fiance is from the philippines and so we decided to go ahead tomorrow and try for the visitors visa while the k1 is pending.. we filed the k1 on NOV 4th. i will call tomorrow and have her a interview set up in manila for the visitors visa.. my quesiton is what are they going to ask her in the interview?.. i know one of the main request is to make sure she has proof she is coming back to the philippines... she has a 1 year old son that we listed on the k1 and were bringing on the k1 visa as a k2.. is this good enough proof to show them that she will return? can we tell them we will be coming back to finish the k1 visa and pick up her child on the k2? u think it will pass? cuz we would never leave aeko behind and will def complete the k1 and bring him here.. so that is more than enough proof she will return right to get our kid and finish the k1. what do u guys think?

hi guys.. im a web designer and programmer. my NOA1 is on NOV 4th.. i was thinking of developing a database driven site so we can all log in and update the days and easly keep track and be able to view it from a website.. i will design the site just wondering if anyone is interested in inputing the data from the spreedsheet and helping keep track of all the and input each petition number from a certain day.. i could design a control panel to easly imput and maintain the petetions so we can all view it and get a clear idea of what is currently beeing processed.. with the software i would design it would be really easy to see what USCIS is currently working on if we all worked and keep it updated and inputed the k1 visas.. let me know what u guys think... thanks.

hello everyone just found this thread didnt even know there was a thread for november fiilers. my noa1 is on november 4th... are they even processing novembers yet? i was watching the timelines of other members over the past month and it seemed it was moving fast towards november but when it got to the end of october it just stoped.. whats going on?
