I was wondering if it was safe to travel with expired GC and AOS letter?

My wife and I plan on going to France for our second wedding with everyone from my French family but we do not want to get called for an interview while we are there or me getting stuck at the US border on our way back.

Is the NOA the letter saying I paid (I-797)? it doesn't look like any special right? And it starts with "Your conditional resident status is extended for one year..."? Does that also mean I can travel OUT of the US? because it only says "you are authorized employment and travel." Im so stoopid! I thought it was just a receipt for the check

So I'm gonna have to take an appointment with them....wonderful!

I just called them.... they told me the notice was sent on April 2nd. But that seemed odd that they mailed it the exact same day as they cashed the check... what are you guys thoughts? They also told me that if I don't get it by May 3rd I will have to make an appointment at the local office and see an immigration officer so he can give me this notice.

We send it march 28th and check was cashed April 2nd. So roughly 3 weeks ago. My GC expires June 21st.. thanks for your help.

I just received this morning my Biometrics appointment scheduled for May 8th. But I never got the NOA (not sure of the name), the letter temporarily extending my GC for 1 year. Is it normal? Should I call them?

No rent. Live at my sponsor's house (father in law). Car insurance are for the both of us. Not car registration. I didn't know it was possible. For cards I've read that since it can be faked so easily they don't care

No joint credit cards cause we never thought of it.no health insurance cause our jobs don't provide one. Pictures we can with family and friends. But do you think the ones I listed in first post will be enough if I add pictures?

My wife and I are gonna fill out the I-751 and send it within the next 2 weeks.

My only concern is we only have joint accounts, cell phone bills, tax return 2010 and 2011 and DL with same address and copy of car insurance card. All of those with both names. And 4 affidavits from family and pictures.

No mortgage or rent.

Will it be enough?

We moved back to my father in law house. He was the only sponsor cause my spouse didn't meet the financial requirements. That's why I'm living with my sponsor. I still have the appointment this coming Wednesday at the immigration office to talk to them. I don't want any trouble and make sure things are done properly then we will file for ROC. I will also do the online change of address after the appointment depending on if they send me to jail or kick me out or if anything is good to go

As long as you have the receipt from USCIS about address change, you will be fine. I believe your spouse also needs to do the address change. That's what my spouse and I did when we moved.

I never got any receipt from them. That's the problem!!

And my sponsor never changed his address...I-865 is for the sponsor change of address. By the way, I took an appointment next week at the local Immigration office to make sure they got it in their database and that I'm not hiding or whatever

I didn't do it online because there was no online option. And when I looked at their website back then it was never mentioned about the other one. I sent my AR-11 and that was it. We have been doing everything we thought was needed. We are kind of freaking out because it says on uscis website that I can get kicked out of the US.

I've got a little issue here.

I'm not sure this is the right place to post this but I sent my AR-11 form (change of address) almost a year and a half ago but I got the letter from the Vermont center at my old address.

I called uscis to make sure everything is alright and the woman told me it was ok. That the change of address was for their record not for the center I'm affiliated.

Could I get your guys help. I really don't want any trouble or getting kicked out of the US. My wife and I are pretty stressed out about it.
