    Co at US embassy have let the power go to they head...my husband has to go back on Dec 5th cause they didn't like the paper work approved by NVC and other papers they requested that were sent into NVC they took and placed in my husbands evidence and gave it back to us so they could say it wasn't there so they could hassle him to come back....I was there had a few words with Co and she accepted a couple of the pages acting like it was mistake but it wasn't and we found more of what...

      first think is co didnt ask but 4 questions and placed evidence from our NVC file in evidence we brought the day of interview and gave it back then requwsted it saying they didnt have it and NVC doesnt know how to do their job

    Getting prepared for Interview with all the evidence and going to be there as well. Will see my husband soon hope and pray for approval and bring him home with me... Interview DATE Oct 25

      I would do cr-1 cause several I know have been through the k-1 got denied after all that time and money have to go back get married and start over again even more time and money thats my honest advice sorry took me long to reply been in Ghana last 30 days with my husband just got back today

    Hi everyone as you can see I'm a newbie.We havent applied yet,I want to get all the info straight first,I couldn't handle a rejection.3 main questions of concern...#1:would k1 be better or should we be married then apply?#2.Does anyone know if I can use a co-sponsor if needed?#3.Would home and property be considered in assets and would that count toward the financial requirmAny and all advice is taken to heart and will so be greatly appreciated..God Bless and Thxents?.

      Hi got your comment on my page. Not sure how the country he is in and where he is from but would suggest you do alot of research and I'm sure he will have to apply from his birth country and may have to go back there for the interview process. You need lots of evidence of your relationship and so forth. Either way. Some have been denied K1 and had to go back and marry and apply for CR1 so I personally just married my man and apply for CR1. It cost less and don't have to worry about...

    Well, it is 10am in California...1pm at DOS...and 6pm at the London Embassy...Let's see what work was accomplished in London today toward getting our Visa...and the phone rings at the DOS. Have been in the automated loop for 28 minutes so far keep hearing to stay on the line and the next visa specialist will be with me shortly...Now Sarah stated that case is still in processing and to wait a couple of days more...A couple of days more will be exactly 30 days since we had our interview......

      I'm trying to expedite on my husbands interview he has already been approved just trying to move up the interview due to my health conditions took letters from my Doctor so We haven't been granted it yet. But don't know who you could possibly expedite with children. So the children are not in Londaon they are in Nigeria???

      Smiling...and was screaming called hubby and the phone disconnected and I called back and he knew what it was even though he didn't hear me say it cause of the way I was excited and screaming..LOL OPERATION BRING HUBBY HOME IN FULL OPERATION FOR SURE!!!!!!

    My husband was asked to bring a proof of Identity before 2005 becos he's been to the US embassy wit different name and passport arnd 2005....i pray they issue him the visa

    Waiting on case complete from NVC....

      Called them today after sending them new Police certificate...they said should hear something in 20 days...that sucks... they lost the first one so I told them to look for it while I sent a new one.... Good thing I was in Ghana and brought it back with me... Just want this to be case closed and so we can get an interview scheduled or at least in the line for it.

    NVC losing paperwork and files now...pissed off....they do anything the can to mess up your case or life........

      Thanks called NVC asap but they only put the case under review for 10 days to see what they might find out...in the mean time being in Ghana my husband and I went to get a new one he supposed to pick it up on Monday cause I'm leaving Ghana on tuesday so I will mail it to NVC on Wednesday...keeping my head up is the hard part but thanks...I really needed the encouragement...and support...

      Congrats....I'm happy you got some compentent workers on your case cause all they do is lose my papers and it not easy to get new ones now having to get a another police certificate cause they lost it...But Happy for you hope you won't wait long for interview...

      congrats...happy that they aren't screwing up your cases like mine...Not sure I got the strength to keep enduring all the ####### they giving me...for no reason should have gotten my letter of case closed and was expecting it instead another missing form....Any way Congrats...

      supposed to have cleared NVC by now but they just keep losing things and sending me new request for things and now they lost my husband police certificate....it is always something... and so stupid...so upset and stressed....I'm not sure I'll ever get my huband home with me at this rate..

    Sent in all the papers now we will just wait and pray for no other issues. And how happy I am to be seeing the CR-1/IR-1 interviews starting to come about. Just hope the rest of my friends here get theirs soon.

      actually there is a couple that got a interview date email sent Dec 8th to them and they interviews for CR-1 is Jan 2011
