Argie, I noticed your post about how to contact the Argentine embassy.. same thing happened to us, they finally admitted they had just been letting their mail stack up for weeks and didn't open our envelope, grr!
The only official way to communicate is email, which is slow. The only fast way to communicate is for (any) US citizen or resident to go to the embassy and ask for an answ...

My husband Mahmoud and I noticed your timeline was similar to ours - just a few weeks ahead of us. We also submitted an EAD expedite - I'm super glad to hear yours went through! Congrats! Mahmoud is very antsy and wants to get back to work ASAP..

Anyway, good luck, but I should warn you that although the embassy is trying to process everything they receive (emails and physical document deliveries) within one week, right now they have admitted it is taking about two weeks. When I went in person it had been three weeks since they received a document and they still had not looked at it!

Hi Cordoba, I noticed on your timeline that you're a little more than 2 months behind us- the embassy received our packet on April 24. After emailing back and forth and waiting a LOT, I finally went in person to the embassy (as a USC) to ask that they schedule our interview. We finally have it coming up July 27. You might expect yours to be in about 2 months, unless you are much luckier tha...

Can't believe the embassy is taking so long. Going Wednesday to try to get them to look at our case if nothing happens tomorrow.
