    We met in Argentina and have been traveling back and forth ever since. We filed for the visa December 4, 2009 and suffered a long time apart before I came to wait with him June 1, 2010. We finally got the visa in early August 2010 and are now in the US, married, but waiting for his permanent resident status.
    Please help us if you have advice!!!

    Hi Ashley y Diego,

    We just received our packet 3, ten days after leaving NVC. WOW! unfortunately we are not prepared yet.

    Is it necessary to pay the 350$ visa fee before the interview, I thought I had read that somewhere but in our instructions it says to pay it the day of our interview. Also, did you do the lab work and the medical exam all in the same day? Thanks!
