Thanks girl. My husband has a moroccan friend here that also came on a k-1 and that guy just got his 10 yr green card last month and it took him a total of 9 months for the process so thats why I was like..."umm honey don't expect it anytime soon" lol but the sad part is he can't apply for citizenship until November of this year. How are you and your hubby doing? did your husband adjust quickly? I read a lot on here that a lot of men have a hard time adjusting to a brand new...

Well hopefully Citizenship moves just as easily! My husband is doing ok...some days are definitely more difficult than others. He of course hates his job, he is still struggling to find something better. And I do wish he would get out and make some new friends...he is kinda shy. It's always a work in progress, but we are very happy to be together and taking it one day at a time. Sounds like you are doing very well! So happy for you.

Hi Amirah! How are you stranger? I see you filed your ROC...good for you. We can't file until mid next month, but I am slooowly starting too pull together my paperwork and evidence. I had not missed the stress of this all. Good luck to you...I will say prayers for no RFEs and speedy approval for both of us

So the husband just called...apparently we missed a signature. I wonder if I mailed the copy instead of our original...whatever, I am just glad it wasn't something big. I just wish the darn EAD would come! Hopefully your hubby's comes soon too

Hi Amirah! I am good, how are you? We did get an email that the EAD was approved..but still waiting for the card. I hope it comes soon because he is dying to work. As for the AOS, just got advised another RFE is on the way...this is killing me! How about you, how is everything going for you?

Luckily we squeaked the AOS out right before the fee change...I was on a mission and spent more than one late night working on forms. Luckily, it's moving along quickly, we have biometrics Dec.29th and with luck he should have his EAD by the end of January...fingers crossed! Good luck to you getting that out today...it was like another weight was lifted. Keep in touch!

Thanks sweetie, I want the AOS to get done quickly...he is already going nuts not working. Luckily I called today and the civil surgeon can see him next week for only $25 woohooo...I really want to file before the fees go up on the 23rd. Take care and have a good week...keep me posted!

Hi Amirah! How are things going with you? We finally got married on the 29th and I am so happy! Sadly my big vacation from work is over today and back to the real world tomorrow, but things are going really well. I am a little worried about him being bored while I work, but he will be fine...I hope the AOS goes fast...once we get that filed. Hope you are doing well

It is so awesome to have him here...I think he is finally starting to settle in a bit, it is just so good to be back together. We are probably going to go get our marriage license tomorrow and maybe Friday we will seal the deal...lol...I will keep you posted! How is your AOS stuff coming? I not looking forward to that paperwork!

I am going crazy with the waiting, but it is going by fast. The hard part is just getting everything ready that I "think" I need. I am getting excited...nervous knowing that the first few months will be difficult..but I know it will all be good in the end..and I just can't wait to see him at the airport! It is exciting though! Keep me posted
