I arrived yesterday at New York the POE was very smooth. The wait in the immigration line was a pain as there were many tourist around other then that the experience was good.

Sounds like he's still in AP. What kind of slips/papers did the Co give your hubby? Theres no way to track the status, but you can call the DOS and they will just tell you it's pending until its complete. Unfortunately there is no way to know when AP will be complete. Luckily, some people do only get a month of AP, hoping you get that as well. Just let us know what papers you got and if need be, we will add you to the spreadsheet. Good luck!

they gave him a bluewish slip which says they r returning his passport and putting him in AP,,, but the thing is after giving him that slip , the CO kept his passport and said that they ll call him to pick it up in 1 month.. lets c. hopefully it wont take longer.

i have couple of questions in mind if u guys can help,but first let me tell u all that my hubby had his interview on the 10th feb, u wont believe wat happed guys, the CO gave him an AP saying that there are some issues in the case n they ll put him in AP, my husband got broken hearted and just said "oooo " leaning back which really showed that his heart broke. and SUBHANAALLAH, ALLAH has put mercy on the CO's heart n he just took the passport back and attached it to the file n kept it n told him to wait for a call to pick up his visa in a month.

i wana ask if anyone knows how to track the visa status online or if there is any number to call in islamabad to find out. and one more thing thats bothering me, is it possible that they will raise an issue in the case and return the passport without giving him visa. pls guys help me out.

my Interview experience was very good . CO was a very nice and polite lady , she asked me almost 20 Questions but didnt asked about any document or wedding pics

and after that she said those magical words , Congrats ur visa is granted u will bet ur Passport back in a week and u can collect that from AMEX

My husband got a call today to pick up his passport and visa. They had told him it would be 7 days but it's been 3 days!!! things are moving fast!!

Every one on Ap I will pray that it's over soon and you are reunited with your loved ones soon!! Good Luck.

ssb, wat type of questions they asked at the interview?

My hubby had his interview nov 19 and he passed he will recieve his visa in 7 days!!! I am so happy

just wanna ask how long does it normaly take once the NVC receives our DS 230 and I-864 packages.

Hi guys I have question regarding mailing forms, who will mail which form for NVC(beneficiary or petitioner). So pls someone can clarify this. Thanks a lot.

"Allahu Akbar" means "God is the Greatest". yes We muslims use this phrase to call for the 5 times of daily prayer. Saying Allahu Akbar does not mean its a key to murder and enter paradise, as some ignorants think. some hypocrates have misused this phrase and terrored people by suicide bombing and all kinds of other stuff, and yet they are called muslim terrorists. they are terrorists but not MUSLIMS. killing is going around all over the world, its all terrorism,, and these people saying "Allahu Alkbar" and start firing are also like those other terrorists. why judge the muslims with these people, since these people are not muslims,, they dont know about Islam, thats why they are doing such killings. if they knew about Islam, they wont be doing this and they would be muslims. Islam is about peace and is against killing innocents.

i m confused where should the receipts for the $70 and the $400 be attached , i-864 package or the DS-230 package??. ? do i attach both of these receipts and the document sheet in both of the packages? please help , i am ready to send these packages out this week. thanks

I sent my DS-3032 by email on Oct 30 and also sent a hard copy. The AVR says they recieved the DS-3032 on Nov 3 not sure if they got email or hard copy. My AOS package was also delivered same day.

Two questions:

how long is it taking for the DS-3032 these days? anyone who got it sent recently in November 09?

How about i-864? and also how long did it take to acknowledge they recieved it?

Do they tell you if they got something in email or hard copy?

I am just waiting, i did pay iv bill early and it shows paid on their website not on their system yet...so just waiting until i can send the ds-230 package.

my ds3032 took 1 week. i just got it accepted this week. as long as they hv accepted it, why do u worry if they got the e-mail or the hard copy. As of the i-864, i m working on it, i ll be sending it in 2 days. hopefuly.

i just realized that we made some minor mistakes in the i-130, e.g. the beneficiary's parents names were written back and forth for the FAMILY NAME and FIRST NAME. And the date (from/to) of his residency of present. And his 3 previous jobs city. Now we r filling the DS-230 and the same questions are asked, we are thinking if we just correct here, would it cause problems, or we should call the NVC and let them know. pls help!!!!
