    Thanks for the congratulations! There was no problem at the interview regarding custody. She has sole custody and sole guardianship and that's all they needed to see.

    We are doing a K1 fiance visa so I don't know if it's the same for your K3, but the packet 3 instructions from the consulate say you must have sole custody OR a notarized letter from the other parent. My fiancee has sole custody and sole guardianship so, the way the instructions read, we won't need the letter. This will be decided at the interview at the consulate. We'll see.....
