  1. Make sure you change your address with USCIS the earliest possible. I think this can be done online (Not sure, I said I think). and write a letter explaining honestly what happened. They are just messing with your brain.

Thanks Teranga. I'm going to call and change the address now.

Please check to see if you can do the change of address online and print the receipt.

  3. I think it varies from consulate to consulate. My own modest research from CR1/IR1 for the lagos consulate shows about 10 weeks after the case is complete till an interview is granted.

    Cheers!

Thanks for your reply. this is very helpful.

How fast are interviews scheduled in Dakar? Any VJs... :crying: :crying: :crying:

  4. Vjs,

My wife CR1 case has completed the NVC process and we are awaiting interview date. I want to file a visitor visa for my mom, this requires me to fill out the I-134 affidavit of support. I filed an I-864 for my spouse's CR1 process with a household size of 3, myself, my spouse and our new born daughter(she is US citizen). My income can sufficiently cover my mom as a 4th dependent. here is my question:

Can Filling an I-134 for my mom at this late stage of my wife CR1 process be of any risk on my spouse's upcoming CR1 interview?

    What would you do?

In advance thank you for your help.
