    taking care of the medical/civil surgeon part of AOS is a real pain in the butt. More challenging than the entire K1 process thats for sure!

      Haha i just read your timeline. At first I couldn't believe they sent you the EAD a month after the greencard. Then I realised, we're talking about USCIS. Haha. I do not hold much hope for mine.

    finally home from Montreal! What a long day, so glad this part of the process is over. Can't wait for step two!

    HOLY SH*T GOT AN INTERVIEW FOR AUG 20!

      I'm so glad you got an expedited interview!. Don't worry about the NOA2, I didn't have mine. My husband insisted he hadn't been sent one. Although when i looked for it in when finally got back to the states, it was filed in the filing cabinet. Montreal didnt' ask me for a ton of stuff that i had brought. Although, security did take the birthday cards I had brought as evidence. Apparently if the cards sing they are considered electronic devices! haha.

    now knows Montreal doesn't read their emails. They enjoy asking the same question of which the answer was told to them in the email. As for the expedite they explained it is reserved solely for those with direct orders and based on availability. So I guess order to have an interview during leave BY the US ARMY doesn't count?

      I hope you do get an expedite. I think if his command can write an email to montreal that would totally speed things up. It sounds to me, from what you've said, that he'll be leaving home shortly and that's exactly what montreal means about direct orders.
