    MRS DOG WAS APPROVED YESTERDAY! And, I so WAS in an alcoholic stupor last night and am still hungover!

    Gotta go pick up my dogs (when I can remember where I parked my car), then I'll be back on to read up on all your news - just did a quick scan - no dramas, all good, and I'll write my review and give you all a quick low down of what went down at the London Embassy - there was humour!

    Now I am back!!!

    Guys, I was approved in the interview!!!!!!!! Can't believe this yet!!!!!!!!!! :o

    I need to see my passport!!!!!

    I am crossing my fingers to receive it until the beginning of the week, then I can go!!!

    I'll practice saying "fiance" for the interview, but i will always call him hubby.

    fiance is such a cold official word :alien:

    Justar is out of VJ for some days, trying to relax.

    This is the effect of almost 4 months waiting for the noa2.

    Come on guys, send her noa2!! :angry:

    I waited a week after receiving NOA2 hard copy.

    But it goes fast at NVC. well, not for all of us, some get stuck there for 2 weeks or a month. I wonder why :unsure:

    Still crossing my fingers for justar. Come on VSC, give her the NOA2 so we could all be happy

    hey so my fiance just go through the NVC after numerous attempts and apparently at one point,we both got through together and were waiting ,but he got lucky,so I hung up.

    And yes,he said they got our case :)

    I am assuming it is today!Now hopefully we won't be stuck here for too long.

    Justar I am praying and wishing you too hear some fantastic news soon and please dont forget to check the mailbox,it happened with us.We are still in initial review btw!

    Do you know if they send e-mails with notifications after NOA2 or just printed letters??

    To resume it all, see here

    Drue got a letter one week after our NOA2 that VSC sent to NVC our application. Then, 2 days after, NVC sent him a letter telling him that they received the application, Gave it a new number, and that they are gonna send it to the consulate.

    After that, the consulate will send me the P3.

    What you should do, is, start getting ready for your P3 starting today. Then, take a week break, you deserved it. Then come back to see us when you get your letter from NVC :)

    Let's have faith! We are almost there!

    JohnAnwesha, you are close to my day!!! In the last week VSC has been approving some petitions of the beginning of November.

    Thanks for the support. :thumbs: I am trying to be strong and don't think about the 5 months. This Friday is going to be 4 months. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It's insane how difficult is to be with whom we love. :crying:

    VSC! Listen up! You're not done until you get through all the rest of these people waiting! :angry:

    Don't make me come up there. We've offered you all sorts of coffee and baked goods. I'll write you into the acknowledgments of my thesis if you just approve the rest of the November petitions already!

    Believe me, I've seen these people frustrated and you DO NOT want them to be waiting for 5 months, because the phone calls you will get will not be pleasant. So just give Anwesha, heisable, justar, Carol&Nigel, and ALL the November filers (VJ members and not) what they so truly deserve!

    To all my November friends: you've got all this community to still lean on as much as you need. Do something special for yourself, and complain and freak out as much as you need to. We're here for you.

    Hugs, and best wishes for continued mega-processing out of the VSC.

    5 months is really the limit? Like... MOST part of the petitions are approved before this and if don't they really investigate why for you?

    Sometimes I'm not sure about this considering that they inform 5 months as an average... :blink:

    HOPE everybody here gets the approval as soos as possible and relax! We deserve this, and a long long life without petitions anymore :)

    I agree with you, I just hope they find ours soon!!! Why are they calling? I didn't think they could call the USCIS until after the 5 months processing timeframe is up.

    Hey ,

    did you check your account with uscis and check the last updated date?If that has changed to some recent date then that means they are handling your application and will soon let you know of their decision which will surely be a positive one.

    So do not worry,everyone's getting worked up ,and it will be over soon.

    We are in the same situation. I am Nov. 5th and nothing yet. WHY? I don't know...

    Sincerely, I'm almost going to the beach or an island here in Brazil to forget noa2... During the night I have been dreaming with this. I don't know what to do anymore... Going crazy!!!!!!!

    AM REALLY GETTING PISSED OFF NOW.I HAVENT GOTTEN MINE AND REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.SO SICK NOW

    Hi!

    I went to US to visit my fiance during the process but I talked to them for a time and answered a lot of questions. You need to have proofs that your fiance will return to his country.

    I don't know about the NOA2, but the agent said to me like 3 times that I should wait for the visa in my country. I don't know. Everything is so complicated.

    CONGRATS EVERYONE ON THEIR APPROVALS!!!!!

    Ok, now I have some questions/concerns. I have scoured and read the boards on these subjects and now just want to know others experiences. First we receive our NOA1 on November 27th. Since then he came to visit me in the US during Christmas and I went back with him to Germany in January. Fast forward – He is coming back to visit me at the end of March. Could this really be an issue for him to visit me since we are in the K1 process? And if we did receive our NOA2 before he visited will they let him in the country to visit? I read conflicting stories on this but can’t find any rule saying you can’t see each other during the K1 process.

    Second, question. Is it really an automatic red flag if the woman is older than the man? I am 7 years older than my fiancé but no we know, including ourselves, has ever questioned this or thought we were an odd couple. Could this really be problem with getting an approval? Should I plan to attend the interview with him in Germany?

    Any insight would be appreciated. After reading the boards more and knowing NOA2's approvals are rolling, I'm starting to worry that something will get screwed up!!!!!

    Well I am showing 16 approvals today just from the 11-20-09 and 2 RFEs... none of which are Jess and I's but it is still very exciting.

    So far for my day:

    Pre-NAO1: 1 (1.15%)

    NAO1: 61 (70.11%)

    RFE: 4 (4.60%)

    Decision: 1(1.15%)

    Post-Decision Activity: 20 (22.99%)

    Nov. 5th and still waiting :(

    I'm worried if the fact that anyone collected my i-94 form when I left US in January is a problem. God!

    I sent it to US to be registered.. anyway...

    I wondering how many petitions of Nov. 5th are still pending. :(

    Us Nov. 6ers are right here with you. Maybe they're just slow in posting our approvals... Ah well, if we get in early next week, we're still ahead of 4 months. Try not to think about it too much this weekend, and it's game on again on Monday.
