Thank You all, Every one here is so sweet. I found this site late in the game but I am glad I did. My fiance is on his way on a plane coming here I pray for his safety and a happy journey. Considering what is going on in my home country, I wish we both were there right now to support the people.
Again thank you all and happy new year.

After 2 months (seemed like a century) of A/p my fiance got his visa today and hopefully will get on a plane tonight and come home to me if he gets a ticket if not well we may have to dish out some money for business class...
It doesn't matter I am just happy.
Now the panic starts for POE
Does any body know the procedure for LAX are they easy? though?
Happy Holidays every one.

We all are happy for you... I hope every one else gets their visa soon as well.

My fiance got this web site on his blue sheet of paper to check for his status...
http://abudhabi.usembassy.gov/immigrant_status.html
However this sited was updated in June 30, 2009
Then there is the site that you can check the status from the main site and that was not mentioned on the blue sheet
http://abudhabi.usembassy.gov/iv/case_status2.html
This one seems to be updated ... I checked to see if they both had the same case numbers and there was no patterns, They share some of the case numbers but not all and they both have cases up to this year....
On the other hand the embassy does not answer the phones or respond to emails... It is frustrating and seems very unorganized.

From what I have read on this site the A/P process is not longer than 3 months or so and sometimes visa's are granted much sooner... this is my take on the Iranians...other people from other countries assume without checking the stats... Good Luck.

what do you mean of :
"The interview, he thought was OK. But she had asked why we had someone else do the I-134 and when my fiance explained that I have been in Iran for a long visits therefore did not have a income tax return she said OK."
??????????
I just don't get it, I guess really you need some sleep.
Don't worry too much, my fiancee was also on AP too and it got clear soon. just some down.
What is the story of I-134????????
He is placed on AP . it takes some times to come out of it. Didn't they ask for any documents or info? How did the interview go on?No They did not ask for any additional information and surprisingly, they did not get the copies of emails and the copies ticket for my second trip (which was recently and they did not have a copy of). They only accepted the pictures and the affidavit of support documents + medical and the forms they had asked us to fill out and sign. My fiance said all 5 people going for an interview that day (k1 & k3) got the blue paper 221g.
The interview, he thought was OK. But she had asked why we had someone else do the I-134 and when my fiance explained that I have been in Iran for a long visits therefore did not have a income tax return she said OK.
I have not had any sleep last night I am very worried that the I-134 can become another issue.
Thanks guys for all your support.
LOL, Now that I have slept a bit... The I-134 in our case is filled out by sponsor who is my co-worker... I have been in Iran for the last 3 years (off and on) and did not have a regular income and we thought this was a better way to go. (that is the question the officer had asked my fiance). That is all.

Does any one know how much is the K1 Visa fee that we have to pay to the bank before the interview... They say the forms that they sent us are old and the fees are changed/waived. I am not sure if that is true and the UAE Consular put me on hold for half an hour today at the end did not answer me
Please help
