Can I apply for I-130 for my husband before his J-1 Visa home residency requirement is completed? I read somewhere that I can apply for the I-130 and get it approved as long as I don't apply for I-485 before the HRR is fulfilled, is that true?

My husband is in the military and he is not gonna be around for the interview so i'm gonna have to go to the inteview by myself. if anybody has been in a situation like this, i was wondering what kind of questions they would ask at the interview if my husband is not there since there would be no way of them to compare our answers.

I already know that I have to send I-130, I-485 together in the same package but do i have to send I-765 with them too at the same time or do i wait until i get the receipt notice?

What was your status?

It was a B-2 visa

does anybody know which one i am supposed to check on that part?

and if it is (H) which is other what do I need to write?

The Example I-130 shows the petitioner/husband listed.

My husband is filing an I-130 for me

and in part C #17 it asks to lis husband/wife and all childern of your relative.

Does he have to list himself as my husband eventhough he is the one filing and all of his info are in the beginning???

I know this is confusing but I need help

I'm filing I-130 and I-485 and I'm wondering if I have to list myself in part C #17 as the husband of my relative if i'm the one filing????
