I am in Phoenix, AZ and she is in Edmonton so pretty far. Luckily, we have been good about catching airfare sales on travel websites. Still, very expensive relationship, but worth every penny

Still one day to go and a few fridays ago they came out with sooo many NOA' s. Probably this won' t be the case as it looks !

haha, i have worked in the federal government for almost 4 years, and it is surprising to see that work actually got done on a friday. hopefully, today won't be the typical federal friday.

anyways my NOA1 date is 11-2, so i should be among the first of us November filers to recieve action. i'll keep everyone updated. good luck to all!

I am starting to panic a little because I assumed my Canadian fiance would have her K1 Visa by April and no later than May, but I am now reading about the wait times for the consulate interview. She lives in Edmonton, Alberta, so she will be going to the Vancouver consulate for the interview, correct? I have been reading horrible things for the waiting time for Montreal and cannot find much information about the Vancouver office. I received the NOA1 on 11/2/09, and the NOA2 should be coming any day now. What is the typical wait time for interview to occur after the case is forwarded from NVC?

Through my ignorance thinking this would happen faster than I now realize, we have already scheduled our wedding arrangements for June 5

Any information about the length of the process from the NOA2 would be helpful. Thanks!

I haven't been successful in finding an answer using the search feature, so here it goes. My Canadian girlfriend/fiance is working on her G-325A and asked me the following questions:

What should she do if her middle name doesn't fit in the space provided? She has two middle names - Patricia Elizabeth

Her father is not a part of her life anymore, and she does not know where he lives him. Will it be a problem that she doesn't know her father's address?
