NOA Date = The Receipt Date on your original NOA letter

KnJ don't be too discouraged. At least you know there is movement happening with your case.

We didn't have a mortgage or joint utility bills either but we showed joint bank accounts, joint debt, joint ownership of a car and a couple other items showing we lived together. if they are asking you for specific things you don't have i would suggest you include an explanation for why you can't include it

Hey guys. I had biometrics on April 19

Got an approval letter today which says the date of approval was november 19

the notice didn't make reference to my case number, it references my alien number instead and it shows the uscis office as the local one here in charlotte where i live. anyone else notice this on their letters?

anyway, i am encouraging the rest of you to not despair. it seems things are picking up. maybe they have transferred files to local offices to help speed up the process. so your approvals are on their way!!!

I had the same thing happened today in my wife's case.

Sent I-751 on 3/8/12 to VSC... Shortly after got NOA1 extending the GC for another year. Had an EAC case that was NOT traceable online.

Got "CRI89 approved removal of conditions i89" NOA receipt notice today that had 2 pages of info on it, but nothing substantial. New case number which is now traceable as CRI89 and is in "Initial Review" phase.

Here is a status:

On March 12, 2012, we received this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or contact our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators.

Don't know what to make of it, especially with the word "approved" in the case heading... I was 100% sure this would be biometrics notice, but nope it wasn't.

When i saw approved in the case heading i almost started to rejoice thinking by some miracle they approved it overnight ............ until i read the rest of the document
