      Good luck Salim - it was a long time coming. I'm sure you and your wife will do just fine. Like I said, the real challenge is adjusting to life in the US!

      haha - yup its back to waiting hell! actually the GC is not that big a deal, since the cr-1 serves as a temp GC anyway. you can use that for applying for jobs and showing eligibility to work and all. the SSN was a pain for us due to a name mixup. if there are no such issues, then apply for SSN (if u havent alreayd done so) and you're off to working! have u rec'd the welcome letter btw?

      yay congrats!!!!!!! finally the nightmare is over! now to just over jet lag, the time difference and find a job, live a happy life etc etc ;) My wife's been having inner ear inflammation issues over the last week and half which has put a damper on celebrations and we're just starting to get over it; hopefully we will be all well by the 4th! in the meantime, celebrate!!!
