I don't understand. Why must she leave her daughter in Ukraine to get a Tourist Visa?
She will leave her to show she will return.
-
Yes basically hostage.

My girl in Ukraine has a 3 year old daughter. She says she will leave her daughter in Ukraine for a few weeks to get a tourist's visa. Will this work?
And is there a difference between a tourist visa and a visitor visa?
Thanks

I finished the i-29f form. I don't see any mistakes. If I made a mistake they just send it back to me right?
Do I include cover letter and intent to marry with it?
Thanks for the help

My co-sponsor doesn't want to send his social security number to Ukraine. Who sees that information anyway?

-
I know I am getting ahead of myself. I make enough to qualify by it's under the table.
If I could have more than one sponsor, they won't feel totally responsible. I will get
her health insurance, and I know they would come after me first. But I need at least
one sponsor. I think more than one would make it easier to get one. If that makes
sense. What do you think?

I don't have any options. I can't leave my mother here probably until she dies.
I don't think they will give a visitor visa to Ukrainian girl, at least I have heard
that.

Hi, has anyone tried to get an exemption from the meeting in person rule.
Now with Russia taking Criema.
And my mother on home hospice care, maybe for years. I am the only family member
here to help her.

Hi Nice to be back,
My Ukrainian girl says there are new stricter rules for fiancee visa,

Anybody heard anything about Uadreams, good, bad, scam?

It is true. No visa needed for US citizens to visit Ukraine. I am partial to Ukrainian girls myself. I could be biased.
Good luck. Ukrainian girls, while still possessed of a mighty "stinger" are far less quick to use it, in my experience. They are more possessive though.
K visa documents are the same. Kiev is very "family visa friendly"
WOW a possessive supermodel, I guess I can live with that, YEEHAW!!!

My Russian fiancee jerked me around for 2 years, now we're out of time. And I lost the trust in her. So now I found a girl in Ukraine. Is it true we from US don't need a toutist visa to visit Ukraine? All the forms for fiancee visa is the same?
Thanks

Her message is on your profile page Here. It wasn't a mail. She left comment on your profile
Got it, Thanks

I received an email from her. Instead of clicking on the link, I came to the site. It said no messages. I figure it's a virus or a scam.

How is a tourist visa going to help? You'd still have to fork over the bucks for the airfare, just like if you wen over there.
A lot cheaper to bring her here, no Flat for one thing. And I would know she is serious. And she would find out if she likes it here. And maybe I can line up a job for her when she comes to stay. And I just want her here.
NIce photo by the way,Which photo?

If she gets a tourist visa the buzzer should go off because all the paperwork should be done before she leaves!
So is a tourist visa a bad idea now?

The cost of living in Russia has gone through the roof lately. My wife's mom gets a $100 a month and survives by growing food in her garden and lives in my wife's flat during the winter. We send money to help but not $500 although that would not be a high amount given prices in Russian stores.
As far as filling out forms, you can do that for her by simply asking her for certain line items like her parents names, birthdays etc. that you don't know. But most of the forms you can handle. You can do this easily via email or phone if she speaks English. When the time comes, you can get the finished forms to her for signature where needed. There are also people who will help her in Russia for a fee...probably around $300.
The fact that this has dragged on for a year is troubling. Something is limiting her motivation. If this all goes south, you've wasted a lot of time. At some point you need to decide what are your time limits...and if they are not met, move on.
My time limit is in about 9 months. Then it will be 2 years since we've been together. I can't spend another $3500 to go there, we will be in a hole we will never get out of. If she got a tourist visa, I guess the clock will start again.

Seems like both of you are not in any hurry to be with each other.
Don't know what to do to speed it up. I've written more times than I can count asking for photo and documents. She finally sent G-325s and Fiancee letter of intent to marry. Everyhing is ready to be mailed except a photo. I spent a lot of time trying to make a photo.

My girl in Ukraine says she can get an Activities Visa for $700. I never heard of this.
I thought k-1 was the only way to come to US and stay.
