hello everyone , me and my ex wife we got a divorce after we mailled our papers for work and stay AOS ,I got my work permision but not the green card ,and she called the uscis and they close our case and they want me to mail them form i-290b ,my qestion is what next after send this form ? and is there any hope with my papers ????

well we got our noa1 on 17 feb and then we got RFE on 1 march , they was asking about my american finace divorce papers (Divorce Decree), we mailed it on 7 march and they got our REF'S on 17 march ,

and until now we got nothing frm them or hear anything?

do i need to start worry ?

do i need to call the congressman ?

so how can she do it ? i mean what papers she will need from me ?

well, my american finacee is american , and i think i won;t be there when she give birth , but my question , can she add me name to the baby birth certificate as a father of the baby or i need to be there to do that?

my american finacee was married before and she got her divorce and we sent her divorce paper in our package , but we got a mail from.uscis telling us "that submit proof of the legal termination of the marriage"

note: a divorce nisi is not evidence of a final divorce.

Hmmm, I'm not clear what you're asking. I think you're saying that you've read that one of the questions the Embassy might have is whether your family approves of this relationship or their opinion of it? Yes...I think that's a question your specific Embassy has asked others. You're wondering if they're going to be looking for a picture of her with your family...and you don't have one? Is that a problem? Well, it might be I suppose, however sometimes they do field visits to ascertain if the family approves of the relationship. If you don't have any pictures of her with your family, then you don't have them! If she's going to visit soon or again before the interview, then get some then, and you can bring them to the interview.

Are you asking if you'll get approved for the visa if she's pregnant? I'm sorry...that's not a reason why someone is approved for their visa. The child will not speed up the process. You mention a finacee, but list K3 as the type of visa. That is a spouse visa, not for fiancees.

The CR1 is a better visa for spouses as there is no adjustment of status phase with the accompanying $1010 fee. CR1 gets your spouse a green card after entry into the US.

You won't be the first person to miss the birth of a child while waiting for the visa. It happens all the time.
