@RICARDO4EVA2
Thanks for your Reply, so just to clarify, My Obligations with the U.S. start right after my I-485 (adjustment of status) is approved and not from the date my Green Card says I became a permanent resident??
The Date I became a permanent resident (on my Green Card) is July 15th 2005, I was already 26 at that time

Hi, I am applying for US Citizenship and I was not registered for selective service.
My I-485 was approved when I was 24 but apparently I was not registered for Selective Service as the I-485 says, at that time I was under a F-1 Status and now the school I went to, doesn't have a record of my I-20. I became a permanent resident and remained a full time student after I was 26 years old already, but since my I-485 was approved when I was 24, I'm wondering what to answer to Question 33 in the N-400 "Are you a male who lived in the United States at any time between your 18th and 26th birthdays in any status except as a lawful nonimmigrant"
Obviously I was under F-1 but I don't have how to prove it now, besides showing my school transcripts but no I-20, will Immigration buy it????

Thanks for your replies guys, yeah it was in college and we both were adults.
But yeah I guess this topic is too complex for this forum, I'll better go and ask a lawyer to be on the safe side.
Thanks again

When the school board gave the veredict after the hearing they stated that I was guilty of having sexual intercourse with a person under the influence of alcohol, but they never mentioned the word "Rape".
Not trying to defend my self for what I did, but this was a couple of drinks and things happened situation. Nothing like she was totally wasted or unconcious and I abussed her.
Police was not involved on this at all, I just had a school hearing.
Just wondering if I put this in my N-400, will it be a ground to deny my naturalization application? or since no charges where ever made I should be fine?

Back in 2002 i was accused by my ex-girlfriend at school of having sexual intercourse while being intoxicated with alcohol.
I was found guilty of having sexual intercourse with someone under the effects of alcohol by the school committee and I was banned from school and not allowed to apply for admission since I was an ESL student. No Charges were ever made against me with the police or any law enforcement.
When I applied for my Green Card(Change of Status I-485) I never mentioned this episode of my life to the officer in the interview, and everything was ok.
Should I mention this on my N-400 on Question 15, where is asks if Have you ever committed a crime or offense for which you were not arrested?

always used the one with the mistake. no one ever noticed and I travelled about 7 times with it (Europe and back). My gender was indicated incorrectly... I am sorry you sent the original in but unless you travel much the stamp should be fine (even if but you need more time for secondary inspections). Hopefully it will be done soon. What part had the error (name?)??
I have the same issue my Green Card has Sex F instead of M, i've been using it for 4 years now traviling all over the world, i even submitted it to other embassys to get a visa like Japan and no one ever noticed it. Now my dilema is that i submitte a form I-90 online, everytime i checked for the status it said something like It's being processed or pending, but now i lost the Receipt inmigration sent me. I really wouldn't like to submit another I-90 form is about $300. Anyone knows if i can get away with this when applying for Citizenship???
N-400 Interview with Gender Typo on Green Card
in US Citizenship General Discussion
Posted
Hello,
My green card has a typo on the Gender part, instead of M it has F. I have submitted my N-400 application and my biometrics have been taken. USCIS sent me the pre-interview notice saying that they have reviewed my N-400 completely and only advice me to bring my Driver's license to the Interview. I wonder if the Immigration officer would make a big deal about this typo? I have working authoritations and copies of past forms that I filled with the correct gender, and never had a problem going out and getting in the United States.
Anyone has had this issue before?
Thanks
